Have you double checked the account number and sort code? As long as they are correct all will be fine.0 -
Just opened an account for OH, but was thrown out of second application (I'll try again tomorrow). Then tried to open one for myself and I have to take ID into branch!!! That will entail a round trip of 25 miles. Not so impressed!0

Therefore, I put 0.00 the first two boxes which referred to salary and put it in the other monthly income. You are allowed to put student in the employment status. Also for the question about funding put bills/expenses not student
I am a home maker and I have put £0,00 In ALL the boxes.... apart from the box where they ask if you have any savings anywhere...... I fill that one in...
the computer seems to like that one:)0 -

i forgot what it was like to earn a decent amount of interest on savings.
snap
but I have done something wrong (again)
I was already on my internet banking and clicked to the right, open savings, and I applied for another single one. it was successful but when I printed it out it said I will receive my user ID within 7 working day!!
I DONT NEED ANOTHER USER ID... I HAVEONE! grr
it isn't showing on my normal internet banking so I will have to wait till all stuff comes through in the post and then go into my branch(again)
why do I keep doing this??0 -

So for a payment made today, the obligation is that it will arrive no later than the end of next Wednesday. I would be very surprised if it took anything like that long.
Its in now, so its been about 2 hours max.0 -

Don't worry your new account will be linked to your current details. Probably overnight or maybe Tuesday. Check over the next few days0 -

I opened 2 each online and was able to fund them immediately by Faster Payments. When I opened the first joint one by phone at the weekend I got the account number and sort code and tried to do a Faster Payment which failed. When I called I was told it would be opened by the Back Office on Monday. As soon as it appeared online in my accounts I was able to fund it.0
