Already skimmed off the interest and done my monthly in and outs for May so shouldn't need to think about TSB again until June.
You realise you can just shuffle £500 between the 2x accounts via standing order on the same day. No need for external money coming in and out.

Yea sorry I wasn't clear the funding requirements were done by cycling the money between the two accounts and moving the interest to a external account.

I did it manually online as wanted to get the interest out as well.

Could set up a SO for the funding between the two and might in the future but going to need to move the interest out manually (due to different amounts of interest in 28/29/30/31 day months) so might just stick to the manual shuffle.

Sigh, when I set up the standing orders from May onwards I forgot to do a manual transfer for April, so only one of my TSB Plus accounts earned £7.50 interest this month. :(

Would be one of the joint account holders has an R85 with the other paying tax (i.e. £100 / 12 * 90% = £7.50)

I applied on line, twice, on 30 March. Each time, it told me my application was successful, but no e-mail confirmation with an account number. I tried logging on using the credentials I created in the application process, but got error messages "user name or password not recognised". I gave up and thought no more about it.

Yesterday, I got a hard copy mailing about changes to account T&Cs! I called their call centre, and got through to a helpful guy who activated my on line banking and texted me a temporary password. Now all up and running. My two accounts were sitting there, waiting to be funded. Now just need an activation code for withdrawals.

Know how you feel. The requirements for my Vantage account wasn't fulfilled when I first opened it. Lost £10 that month.

Nope. Did check that at the time. The system fouled up completely, and I had given up on them, but glad its sorted now.
