    Hi,

Does the £500 into the account have to new external money?
If not, could you do an internal transfer from the Enhance Account?

Also, no mention of the Enhance Account on their website, so has that now been pulled? If so, will the interest rate fall for the Enhance Account shortly or be pulled completely?

£500 doesn't have to be from external funding.

If I were to open one of the high interest current accounts with say four banks, all of which stipulate a minimum balance plus minimum monthly deposit (but as far as I can see no mention of withdrawals) could I recycle the monthly deposit from one account to another throughout the month and qualify for the high interest rate.

Yes, lots of people do that.

Applied online last night but got an email saying they processing my account and I have to wait for them to get back to me. Was hoping to get a second account open as soon as possible but guess I will have to wait. Just hope they don't get me into a local branch as none are that local.

If you apply online do you need to provide identification information in branch?

Well I still can't log in so I decided to register for online banking. It seemed to accept my account number but didn't give either of my contact numbers for the call back with the authorisation code. So I had to select send by post. Now waiting patiently, I was hoping to have my £4000 all ticked away safe by now :( oh well.

Applied for the wife's account yesterday too. But instead of the account now open message and email that I got all she got was a message saying application in progress. No email, no reference number so we will wait and see what happens.

    Some will, many won't.

I was told I probably would have to because I haven't lived at my current address for three years. Turns out I didn't have to.

I wonder if being an existing Lloyds customer helps in this regard. Obviously they only split recently and their online application forms are identical aside from branding (just like their online banking interfaces).
  • According to TSB website the Plus account is no longer on sale. As it only went live today did anyone manage to open an account?
Named after my cat, picture coming shortly
