I can't seem to open a 2nd account for myself from the link without having to set up a new user ID and password...I tried leaving it blank and press continue but it won't let me.

My first account opened fine and online banking works.

I tried clearing cookies and doing it again and still no help there.

    Weird.

I had to enter my online banking details again for the second account too. But I can't log in!

I was just about to post the same, although I haven't tried myself yet (because I suspected it may want a different username). Also don't have the option to open a second from within online banking until I've received the activation code.

    Any help anyone?

This links works brilliantly. I already had 3 C.Enhances. Applied for 2 new C.Pluses one after the other from the link (didn't need to clear cookies). Both new accounts accepted. Logged in and both showing alongside the other 3. Transferred over 2 x £2k internally.

Only think to watch was that although I was already on paperless statements, the 2 new accounts came up as paper, so I had to re-allocate these to paperless (to get the interest).

Many thanks. If it was so easy, makes you wonder why TSB didn't put the link on their front page.

I applied for the second using the same original link, wasn't asked for online banking registration/login details on the second application, and both are showing in my online account immediately after the second application completed.

    They will later this afternoon.

The link to the application shouldn't have been found yet.

Maybe these problems we are having are our own fault for applying before they are fully ready!

I'm an existing TSB customer and didn't have the option to open either of my accounts from within online banking. I didn't get asked to set up internet banking at all, so I can't help you with that one.

One option for those with Enhance accounts would be to try and 'backdoor' them by upgrading to Plus when the rate on those accounts plummets (in the summer?).

I don't have any Enhance accounts, but it's certainly something I'll be trying in July on my Lloyds Vantage accounts to bag an additional Club account (or 2).

It worked a few years ago with Halifax when I was able to get a 4th Reward account, so worth a try now.
