Edit: ah, that's strange. It says on their website you can apply for another Classic account online through Internet banking but for Classic Plus it just says "online".0 -

- start your application for an additional account when NOT logged on
- the "system" will recognise from your details that you are already registered and will invite you to log on
- you log on and complete the application
Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

I think you're only correct with the 1st point.
When you apply for a second TSB Plus account (logged out), you go through the whole application without being prompted to log in. Once accepted, you can log on yourself and see the 2nd account on online banking.
Your steps are correct when it comes to applying for your 1st/2nd Tesco current account (depends on whether you already have access to Tesco's online banking).:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Hi there
Without reading the 60 (yes 60) pages of this thread can someone tell me if the only way to open a joint account is by branch please?
I've started an online application whilst being logged on and its not giving me a single / joint option (yet).
Using google it seems to state its a branch only. Is this correct?
Cheers as always0 -
You can also open a joint account by phone.0
