Two accounts each, two joint accounts between a couple - so six accounts for a couple0

I think you're only correct with the 1st point.
When you apply for a second TSB Plus account (logged out), you go through the whole application without being prompted to log in. Once accepted, you can log on yourself and see the 2nd account on online banking.
Your steps are correct when it comes to applying for your 1st/2nd Tesco current account (depends on whether you already have access to Tesco's online banking).
I've tried this but step 4 is prompting me to register for internet banking and give them a User ID and Password to use for online banking. What do you do here?
I already have online banking with TSB as well as one TSB Plus account

I am currently living off savings with no earned or benefit income having chosen to do unpaid voluntary work for the timebeing. Wanted to improve my returns by taking out a Classic Plus account to get the 5% interest on £2,000. Am quite capable of making monthly deposits of £500 from other savings. Since this is the only operating requirement and if I don't make the deposit it's my loss as I wouldn't get the interest there is no risk to the bank but they have tuned me down. Although they would let me have the ordinary Classic account (which of course is of no interest to me as it does have the interest).
Very helpful and pleasant staff in the complaints department but the decision by the relevant department appears completely illogical (think it was the lending department which in itself is daft as I am not asking for a loan or overdraft!).
TSB - the bank that likes to say no! Not so different after all.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
set up 2 classic plus a/cs.
1st 11 days ago, online, second by phone, 4 days ago, 35 minutes of spiel and hard sell., .
Fully Funded both ok online.
Cannot set up SO's without Activation Code.;Ok.
1;activation code came today, doesn't work;;another ten days to wait for another.
2;go paperless or no interest;;When on the phone she said they were paperless;; They were not,I did it online.BUT, got e-mail from Lloyds saying my paperless instructions have been activated.
Another 2 Phone calls..Glitch.
then enough to have a bonfire came by post this morning.more on the way.
3;I said NO phone, or text calls;;.got 4 from market research on TSB behalf.
Is it worth it??
Only after it's finished, whenever.
Dreading doing a joint a/c next.
Happy Banking.
Good innit.:)0 -
