You're very lucky - no way in hell you should have got your postage costs back when it was your mistake.

I hope you left the seller good feedback.

Ok. No, I am unable to leave feedback because ebay America say the transaction never happened.

As far as correcting an honest error in ebay which they should have in their system software, the ability to amend.
Not a one strike and you're dead result as you would have.
That they don't yet have it, is their bad planning.

I did not come here to discuss humanity with Fred Phelps.
    Good day.

Action Required: Your order of Item #: 141161600704 was returned to our shipping center (ORAAA000000095426645) SR# 1-23292342777

Your order of eBay Item #: 141161600704 from weinermusic was returned to our shipping center. This was due to either an unsuccessful delivery, or the address you provided in the order is either incomplete or unrecognized within our shipping system. We want to resend the item to you, but we want to verify the address and contact information we have is correct.

This comes after 49 days from the purchase.
I believe things are in a bit of a mess right now.
I can see though that asking the seller where they they would like it to go is a bit on the silly side. Not.
This whole episode and many more like it were unnecessary.

I was able to talk to an ebay person in my country ...

Which country are you in, exactly?

And what is the telephone number of ebay customer services there? Or did you visit them in person?

I replied to ebay saying I had the refund.
    Apparently it was not acceptable.
    They sent me the following.

    Dear Jerry,
Thank you for contacting eBay about the correct address that we requested.

As stated in our previous email, you need to send us your updated/ correct address and we will resend the item to you. We hope that this claim is resolved as soon as possible.

    Sincerely,

    In conclusion so far...

ebay have their way of doing things.
It can not be altered right or wrong.
They will simply not read anything they request sent to them.
Interaction with a human at ebay can have an affect but does not overall stop any wheels turning.
    Ebay is barely human.
Their decisions were predetermined years ago.

Unless you physically talk to them, nothing will be done.
They need to employ thousands more people but wont do because it cuts into their profit.
Profit being far more important than doing what is right.

But then... They are not in business to make things right.
That has nothing to do with making money.

After considering the blatant errors on their part, I can only come the conclusion that apart from a human skeleton staff, it is run by servers.

    Sincerely,

    Chloe R.

Is saying server Chloe R sent this automated reply.
My reply which explained what had happened didn't contain an address which it was scanned for.

My dispute and appeal was rejected because the tracking was scanned and the word delivered appeared even though it was not delivered to me.
There is no human carefully evaluating anything.

I by email can not communicate with them on any serious level.
This is why we keep getting these silly automated responses which never make any sense.

Without the strong desire to rip me apart and take ebay's side, is the any constructive criticism here?

Is that as constructive as it gets here?
