ebay are becoming a very dangerous law onto themselves.
They need to be taken in hand before there is no control over them.
They will buy people all too easily.
    Money talks.

    Do you disagree?

So you're still fighting with them! Make a post on their twitter/facebook - this normally shames them into doing something about it

    Reversal

Please be aware that your payment can still be reversed, (e.g. if it is subject to a chargeback), even after you have sent the item to your buyer. Complying with PayPal's protection programmes and following the trading guidelines given in our Safety Advice helps to protect you from things like chargebacks.

I still have to fight them to get my shipping and expensive import duty returned.
What a mess they are creating.

Hmm... I have read this all the way through and I'm not convinced it is entirely of their making.

I agree. OP really has to get the previous addresses removed now before they give themselves any more hassle.

A guy at ebay did talk me through removing old addresses.
They are no longer there now.
    Paypal was easy to do.
Should it not be easy on ebay too?

    Problem resolved.
    Money back.

It should not have been so precarious.

You have already been given the names of the 2 Board Guides that work on this particular board.

Did you PM the Board Guide to make your request?

Whilst you may have resolved the issue for yourself, others may find your experinece helpful too, but they will probably look for such experience on the other board :)

You're very lucky - no way in hell you should have got your postage costs back when it was your mistake.

I hope you left the seller good feedback.
    What will your verse be?

I was able to talk to an ebay person in my country and she read the tracking info. That clearly showed ebay were in the wrong.
If you can talk to them with solid proof they are reasonable.

If it is iffy proof you have, it is not good enough.
