Ihh bu I have fan & radiators on!! OOps! Report going well and just stopped for lunch! Yummy sausages, mash & veg! Delicious! I just couldnt givethat jam away because it seriously was rock solid! I know its dot very dfw but I do have a base level of what I am prepared to do to save money & giving away/selling jam that resembles a breaze block is below it am affraid! I have brought macey in though & she's on the hall table! Didnt want to bring her up in base she got knocked over!! Very sweet little pot she is in! Still no news of petplan...getting mre than hacked off now and may ring to express my lack of satisfaction with the so called service!

Hi FF...sorry for the troubles you are having..petplan may not have phoned back as she may not of passed the message on!!!...she sounds horrible...you think they would care more...I'd give them a call back and take it from there...I'm sure companies are there just to pee us off...take carexx

Now hacked off as stupidly worked out the "what % of salary is debt" & its 100% - ok down from 127 % (not including mort) and feel quite low about it. I dont know if I manage to hide it from myself or what but things like this just make me feel s*** to be honest. Wish I hadnt done it as I felt ok until I did it...Anyway its done and at least its going in the right direction.
I rang petplan back & tried to get hold of the manager I spoke to yesterday (no way was I going to rely on that madam to pass a message on taxi!!) and was told that he is investigating and will get back to me. Told the bloke that he could pass on that I was less than impressed overall & the way things were going would be doing a formal letter of complaint with him included with the orginal clerk. Its all been very upsetting but I now just feel angry to be treated like that.
Going to chill tonight and a gland has swollen up behind my ear & I feel a bit fluey (sore throat & generally grumpy) ... hope I'm not coming down with something - early night for me though I think but of first to look for K's diary - even if she did waggle a finger at me!

I hope it's not going to turn into a disaster like Tiscali did for me...took them 3 months to ersolve that one...so good luck with that...going to wind down now before bed...take care xx

Didnt sleep well last night & struggling a bit today as a result! Report not going well & going to have to work tonight to catch up. Plus back is killing me! Fudge going well though!! Just posted the recipe & it really is yummy & thats from someone who doesent like fudge!!
Feeling a bit better about the actual debt situation and hey, whats a % anyway!! It doesent really matter in the grand scheme of things! Popped to tesco at lunch time & very proud of myself for taking the time to redeem a 50p voucher that would scan & holding my ground when they initially refused! Got them round & we had a laugh in the end - 50p is 50p after all, which they agreed with! I almost said I was one of "Martins girls" but thought (a) That sounded dodgy (b) they may not know Martin! Managed to resist, on this occasion! The Christmas thread I started (my version - just deny its coming until Dec paypay on 20th!!) is in the weekly newsletter & I felt oddly proud! Sad, possibly but I dont care!!
Of to have a little rest in the hope that it may motivate me to be motivated!

sorry to hear about all the hassle with petplan fishface and i hope you start to feel better soon. Don't want to add to the stress but did we decide to start the cj after chrissy? i've probably read the answer but just can't remember.
With all the home made fudge etc do you have a receipe for chocolate fudge shortcake? i'm addicted to the stuff and wish i could make it.

I suspect that like me you shouldt really but hey this is from a woman who is eating her way through a pan of fudge and "accidentally" put skinny cow ice cream in the trolley!! Let me know what its like and whether its worth making or a real faff. I'm going to make banoffee for my dinner party on Sat! Easy but yummy! Just need to decide what to do for mains...
Made mango chutney with my pan that arrived this am. Still feel a bit caccy and do wonder if its actually the fudge! Sugar just aint good for you and while on lighterlife I didnt have any of the carb/sugar highs that I get now! Will take fudge to work tomorrow me thinks - am rubbish at resisting temptation! At least I know the recipe works!

Oh updates...still nothing from petplan and didnt have the energy for a row today! Decided if I've heard nothing by the end of the week I will do a formal letter of complaint. I have names & dates and it will be a fishface special letter. Saved for extra special occasions.
Mortgage is well on the way to being sorted - virgin just need to release the deeds and then it will be sorted. Hopefully there will be a difference as I've made a payment since the original amount was done which would be good. If there is some will go for debt, some for cats (who are in need of vaccinations & have to have them or petplan pol invalidated) and car need a service, tax due in Dec...endless isnt it! Still waiting to see what the roof will cost and have some money in savings which makes me feel terrified! I remain determined not to use CC for Christmas and its no longer in my purse so the "oh S** it" mentality that I am very good at is no longer there. I LOATHE going overdrawn (even though I get 250/250 with no fees!!) so this is working for me. Spending diary remains a disaster though. I seem to work better just trying not to spend - bizarrly I seem to rebel against the diary & find it quite depressing so I've stopped! I usually do ok in the first week & then get depressed and stop spending! ok off I go...will pop in later! Hugs debt busters!
Tree I am still waiting to hear what you all want to do about the CJ - none told me if they want to start now or wait until Christmas! Your wish is my cmmend but you all need to let me know, pus you were going to speak to your sister?

hi i was waiting to hear if you didn't mind me talking to my sister, but i will definately have a chat with her and i'm sure she'll join us. Any excuse to scrap and she's there.
Thanks for the receipe i defo shouldn't be eating it, i'm desparately trying to lose weight, not for the wedding or my OH but for me and my health. So far i've lost 13lb which is great considering whilst i was at Slimming World i gained weight.
I had a friend who did lighter life, i wish i could just to lose so quickly but i wouldn't be able to afford it.
