Hi Fishface...hope your cat is ok and that you are feeling better...it must be so worrying for you...let us know when you know0

aww thanks taxi! I rang the vet (twice!) & finally got the answer that the results were back & they couldnt see anything majr - liver enzymes slightly raised but that may be because she is STILL overweight! Apparently not the anorexic cat I think she is (they would have had a fit if they saw her before...she was rather round, like her mummy lol!!). We agreed that I'll just keep an eye on her & see how she goes & if any probs I'll take her in. It could be that she is just getting older so looks a scruff! Tomorrows job is to sort out pet insurance!
Feeling better physically today. Babysitting cancelled as they are unwell but may want me later in the week depending how they feel. Disappointing but never mind...made use of the time & made strawberry jam #2 after I went to tesco & my mate is ging to take my woolley coat up for me (arms too long!). Now just chilling with ice cream (skinny cow, so feels like fat treat but isnt!). Have been a dietary paragon of virtue this week so enjoyed it, guilt free! Nothing better!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Not a bad DFW day. Rang to check pet insurance ok & thankfully I did as they hadnt set the policy up...went through it all again which was annoying. Left work early as had a drs appointment so managed to do housework first and then scrub burnt jam pan ready for the next batch of jam. Became something of a mission after the last lot burned yesterday! Got ingredients for soup making & straw at the market (cheap & yummy!) and not badly prices. Then made jam & I think it is ok! It's a bit runny but hoping it will set a bit more overnight. Thankfully not burned though!
Then my mate returned the £20 he owed me which is good as going out on Sat night and with meal & drinks it wont be cheap! No idea how much as not been out for ages, Sad bunny that I am! Nice girlie night is planned & I'm looking forward to it. Need to get an eve bag but saw a nice one for £5 at tesco!
Bit the bullett & have signed up for a womens running group on a monday night...feel strangely nervous about it! Other than that no news really - just plodding on!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Lunch out with team for a collegues belated leaving do whch was reasonable on the wallett but not on the hips! Made up for this & puniched myself at the gym! MAJOR achievement in running on the treadmill for the first time EVER which is fab. I've been terrified of falling off and unable to get from walk to jog before (ie last 4 years!) so incredibly chuffed for pushing through the fear, as was my GP referral woman who has supported me from the start & been incredibly patient. Fab! Feeling a bit fluey still but unsure if I am or its just Friday night tiredness...hope its the latter as really looking forward totomorrow's night out...Off to chill! Hope you all ok...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

A good night out but not a good DFW day but did manage to get running stuff in the sale & exchange my shoes for new ones without quibble & two ridiculously cheap skirts in the principles sale so now have enough going out things. Managed to resist the lure of gorgeous shoes so proud of myself there!! Meal out was lovely but feel cack (fluey on chest IYKWIM!) so having a quiet day today. Need to pop out for food shopping but need sleep. Woke at 2.30 & didnt get back to sleep until 5am - prob the coffee at dinner! Also need to have major cut back as determined NOT to use the £200 I transferred to savings or go into overdraft!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Either go and get food shopping, get it out of the way, then come home and doze on the sofa.
Or.....doze on the sofa, set an alarm for an hour before the shops close, go and do the food shopping hopefully a little more recharged.
I hope you feel better soon xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Not a good day...Macey cat (who I took to the vet last week) is v. poorly so we're off to emergency vet at 5. I can now confirm that cancelling the pet insurance was the worst decision I ever made...the new insurance wont cover whatever the cost/treatment is so it is with major trepadation, and not a few tears, that I take her. Praying that she also comes back.Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
