Happy Birthday Juno!!!! I hope you have a fab day!

I have a million things to do today, hair dresser at 9:30 run to the shops for some tea in a cup (take away ones for on holiday) then take my dog to the kennels and i have to see a barrister at 3pm then work again at 6! i was up till half 1 this morning working my little socks off (ironing) so im pretty tired. Im missing my BF quite a bit too but i have wore his tshirt for the last 3 days! lol! i wont be seeing him till the 19th :( we're getting on really well at the moment, its weird really that i go away tomorrow morning but i cant wait to come back and see him :( Even though im off to the Hilton!

I hope everyone is ok, Hugs and love to everyone that needs or wants one (ps im better now so you cant catch a cold)

I think I'm wimping out of going to the doctors today. I can't face going and talking about it and I don't feel too bad today, so will just end up playing it down.

  • jen.eng What medications have you tried in the past? Perhaps the psychiatrist would prescribe you a medication that you haven't already tried. What's putting you off taking medication again? Did you experience side-effects?

Try to do anything to distract yourself from cutting (easier said than done I know  ) Do you have any hobbies/interests?

If you do go back to work tomorrow I hope it goes well. Are work quite supportive?

    Hi RBK

I've tried a few different ones - Sertraline, Reboxetine, Mirtazipene, Venlafaxine (not sure about some of those spellings!). The side effects were dreadful, especially the sweating and cramps. I had a really bad episode in May and decided that if I can feel that awful on them, I can't feel any worse off them. Psych disagreed of course but it's not him having to take them. My head's felt much clearer since I stopped and the depression hasn't been as bad as it was in May (yet:rolleyes: ).

I try not to cut, it's hard to find a clear place nowadays. I try very hard not to cut my arms now as I work with kids and they ask too many questions. Plus the scars on my arms are already quite obvious. There's always somewhere though. Things are just too hard atm.

I keep myself very, very busy, far too busy in fact. Time on my hands is a dangerous thing  so I'm usually found on the comps forum frantically entering as many as I can manage.

I'm going back to work today, I rang and told them I'd be in once I've dropped DS at school. Now I feel sick and low. I feel guilty being at home, but not up to being at work. I can't keep taking time off, they'll sack me at this rate

Hope you have a good day. I'm glad you got your cuts looked at.

    Take care

The reiki sounds lovely and it sounds like you enjoyed it.

I'm really sorry to hear you're ex has been around making trouble of himself again-do you think its down to him managing to get hold of you yesterday, or does he often just turn up. He sounds like such a nasty piece of work and you're well shot, I just wish he'd go away and make things better for you, because you deserve better.

    Love and hugs for you

    Xx
    morning all,
meyore, it was the first time he had shown up at my house since the split, apart from the once which was arranged so he could collect his things. now everytime there is a knock at the door i jump out of my skin.

been to see the dietician this morn, she thinks a healthier diet will help with the depression, i've had to promise to eat three regular meals a day and include 5 pieces of fruit and veg  , i'll never eat that much..
    big hugs everyone

    Happy birthday Juno!

Thank god for Tesco home delivery at the mo! Mum now totally immobilised and in desperate need of cat supplies. But the strange thing is it is cheaper for me to buy online, used a code from the forum to get £8 off so the delivery is in effect free and another £2 toboot!

Even when I felt down I loved the fact this site has given me such control and confidence with finances etc. Three cheers for MSE!

Hope everyone is well today. I'm a bit of a blue bummed fly with everything to do!
