  • Hi everyone...
...gingerly waving hello. It's my first time posting here and don't really know what to say. I just need to speak to people who sort of understand what depression feels like. I don't really have many friends 'in real life', so I'm hoping this will prove to be therapeutic.

juno Why was the course cancelled?
Not enough people :( They need 8 and there was only 3 of us. So we're going to amalgamate with another group, but that means travelling half way across town and there isn't an easy bus route. They've also swapped the order of the modules round, so I'm not entirely sure what I'll end up doing anyway!

meyore I know Camberley, that is fairly near to me.

I hope you manage to get an appointment at the Doctor's tomorrow. Its annoying when you can't make an appointment in advance.

Oooh your boots must be very nice. I like River Island. They usually have lovely things. I bought 2 handbags from there last weekend :) It was nice of your Mum to give you money towards them for your birthday. Are they black/brown?

I would think it's to do with you building muscle. As muscle is heavy I guess it makes sense that you have put on a little bit of weight. Personally for me I've found that exercising and reducing my calorie intake has made so much difference. Could you perhaps start a food diary, over say, a week or so and then at the end look back and see if there is anywhere where you think you could make changes?

can you phone your OH each day?
Hi RBK how are you tonight? Hope you're ok today are your arms a bit better?

I managed to make an optitions appointment tomorrow because I can't see very well recently, but I tried the doctors on the off chance and they said no. Will try again first thing tomorrow now.

My boots are nice and they'll be good for work as well as going out, so worth it! They're black. I went into river island today to get an application form as they have a stock control job that I could fit in with my other job. Imagine the money I could waste there with staff discount!

I'm back on the eating 3 proper meals a day and fruit for snacking and I feel starving. I can tell I've probably been eating a little too much recently from that... :o

I get to speak to OH nearly every night and we text lots, but its not the same. Before he joined the army we were pretty much inseperable, which is why I think I find this so hard. Hes coming home for the weekend though, so I have something to look forward to.

I will report back when I do it...eventually! A bit knacked to say the least with Mum laid up and trying to keep on top of everything. But the good side is it makes me feel useful, proud of my self and occupies my mind with more pisitive thoughts!
Glad to hear you're doing well, I find the same, that when I'm busy I don't have time to dwell and work myself up.

reiki was lovely and relaxing, today was first time i've had it. all you do is lie on the couch and relax, the therapist burnt insense sticks and played relaxing music. then she places her hands a couple inches from your body and slowly moves them to different areas. you really could feel the warmth in different parts of the body and it was so relaxing.
went to alcohol clinic this afternoon, to see the doctor and my counsillor there, the doctor has refused to give me another prescription for meds as i've started drinking again, felt so disappointed feel like i have let them down as well as myself. my alcohol counsillor is seeing me again next weds, hopefully i can tell him i've cut down or even better stopped all together.
ex turned up at my house today but i hid and didntt answer the door:o
afterwards i called at my local shop, and stocked up on 4 cans cider and 24 cans lager, in true mse style they were on offer
feel like moving away so ex cant find me, but thats not a realistic option.
feel so tired, not been sleeping well lately and my eyes are sore from all the crying.
    big hugs everyone

The reiki sounds lovely and it sounds like you enjoyed it.

I'm really sorry to hear you're ex has been around making trouble of himself again-do you think its down to him managing to get hold of you yesterday, or does he often just turn up. He sounds like such a nasty piece of work and you're well shot, I just wish he'd go away and make things better for you, because you deserve better.

    Love and hugs for you

    Xx
