Hope today has gone well for you SazzieBomber---hope you have time for a little breather;)

OOO-OO-OOO-OOOOO!Back atcha Rose! Glad you got back OK & the reference to Boheimian Rapsody has done me good:D Did you do any haggis hunting? I've heard they are nocturnal creatures who are very shy of sporrans;)

I'm thoroughly miffed:( ....I love mango, but can't for the life of me work out how to prepare the damned things:mad: I've tried again tonight & just got covered in juice & thready bits:o so I'm going up for a shower.

I'm playing chauffeur to BIL tomorrow, & they're not sure if he wil start any treatment at this hospital app, so it could be a long day.....I'm taking the book I had from shanta so I'll be ok propped up at the tea bar:p

OK....I'm off before I get the keyboard too sticky......

    Hi All

Hugs to everyone, hope you are all well today.

I'm not doing too bad today, I didn't sleep too great last night was awake until past 4am. As a result when I did go to sleep I didn't wake up until 1pm, I really need to do something to get my body clock back to normal.

Actually ate something properly today, did myself a ham salad baguette and had a small piece of melon afterwards....trying to take small steps.

I haven't cried so far today and I haven't felt like harming.

Hi everyone hope you're all ok today.

Work again, sucked as usual. Felt really sad by the end of it so I couldn't face going to exercise class tonight. I'm really missing OH today, when hes here I forget how hard it is when he isn't. I had a thought that its like we aren't even part of each others lives on days like today, I have no idea what hes doing or if hes ok. :(

I'll stop moaning though, things aren't that bad really. Going to sit here and enjoy relaxing tonight.

    Xx

Hi rose, glad you're feeling a bit better now.

Tae bo is like martial arts in the way that theres a lot of punches and kicks, but its completely non contact. You do it to music like aerobics, but its more fun in my opinion. :)

I have got the Strictly Dancercise dvd waiting (weighting!) to be put on. But also noticed for 99p a pop there's exercise programs on my BT Vision 'On Demand' service - that may be fun to do one of those as a change everynow and then.

Thought at the moment I am getting enough exercise around the hosue whilst Mum is laid up and I'm dog sitting next door!.

Good luck to all with work projects today.

Shaz - hope the reiki proves relaxing :)
How was the dancercise dvd? I was tempted to get that one myself it looks good

reiki was lovely and relaxing, today was first time i've had it. all you do is lie on the couch and relax, the therapist burnt insense sticks and played relaxing music. then she places her hands a couple inches from your body and slowly moves them to different areas. you really could feel the warmth in different parts of the body and it was so relaxing.
went to alcohol clinic this afternoon, to see the doctor and my counsillor there, the doctor has refused to give me another prescription for meds as i've started drinking again, felt so disappointed feel like i have let them down as well as myself. my alcohol counsillor is seeing me again next weds, hopefully i can tell him i've cut down or even better stopped all together.
ex turned up at my house today but i hid and didntt answer the door:o
afterwards i called at my local shop, and stocked up on 4 cans cider and 24 cans lager, in true mse style they were on offer
feel like moving away so ex cant find me, but thats not a realistic option.
feel so tired, not been sleeping well lately and my eyes are sore from all the crying.
    big hugs everyone

It's round and still in its box :rotfl:

I will report back when I do it...eventually! A bit knacked to say the least with Mum laid up and trying to keep on top of everything. But the good side is it makes me feel useful, proud of my self and occupies my mind with more pisitive thoughts!
  • meyore I know Camberley, that is fairly near to me.

I hope you manage to get an appointment at the Doctor's tomorrow. Its annoying when you can't make an appointment in advance.

Oooh your boots must be very nice. I like River Island. They usually have lovely things. I bought 2 handbags from there last weekend :) It was nice of your Mum to give you money towards them for your birthday. Are they black/brown?

I would think it's to do with you building muscle. As muscle is heavy I guess it makes sense that you have put on a little bit of weight. Personally for me I've found that exercising and reducing my calorie intake has made so much difference. Could you perhaps start a food diary, over say, a week or so and then at the end look back and see if there is anywhere where you think you could make changes?

can you phone your OH each day?

shazrobo I would definately recommend exercising. It really does make a different to your mood/how you feel. I think it releases endorphins (serotonin) that makes you feel better within yourself. Give it a try :)

I'm glad to hear that you're arms are OK. My arm hurts a little bit now but nevermind. I'm cutting everyday so they do look rather messy. It does upset me to think how badly they are going to scar :( but it doesn't prevent me from doing it.

rose07 :hello: I'm sorry that I haven't spoken to you in ages. How are you? I hope you're still receiving support. Make sure you check in with the Dr. soon hun :)

Sazbo I hope your day at work went well. Sounds like a lot of hard work has gone into the re-launch. Hope you're looking after yourself.

Tiff I'm glad to hear you're feeling a little better. You've been missed! Try to get as much rest as you can until you're feeling back to your normal Tiffy self :D

jen.eng What medications have you tried in the past? Perhaps the psychiatrist would prescribe you a medication that you haven't already tried. What's putting you off taking medication again? Did you experience side-effects?

Try to do anything to distract yourself from cutting (easier said than done I know  ) Do you have any hobbies/interests?

If you do go back to work tomorrow I hope it goes well. Are work quite supportive?

Tulip Pleased to hear you've had a good day :) Awww it's lovely that you've gained a new friend, you must be pleased.

Horace You're sounding really positive :) perhaps the work trial has lifted your mood. Are you enjoying it? After the work trial has ended what will your job be? (if you decide to take it of course).

Free money and chocolate :T sounds good to me!

juno Why was the course cancelled?

BigMummaF Just wanted to say that I hope everything goes well for your BIL. Much love xxx

Bunnie1982 I'm pleased to hear that you've had a better day today :) Small steps is the way to go :) I hope things continue to improve.
