I have found that I suck at dance mats. And if there are 4 of you, one of whom has a bad back and one has a bad wrist, it is not a good idea to go bowling! My wrist really hurt if I used the heavier ball, but if I used the lighter one I couldn't hit anything. And my sister was just as good bowling through her legs backwards.
I got a mug that says "Jon Bon Jovi rocks my world", and a breadmaker. And my daddy is buying me a computer course, but he doesn't know it yet. I also got a cheque of my bank charges back, yay!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Hi everyone. I went to see a solicitor on tuesday..it was only for advice, but I think that was the start of a downward spiral. Just feel so sad that my marriage is over. I have spent over half of my life with him ( were together years before we married) and even though I chose this...I am grieving I think...and I'm fearful for my future. Hugs to everyone feeling bad and struggling xx0

Hey antronella x just wanted to agree with what gario says. Also, please don't think of it as a 'downward spiral' hun. It is natural you feel the need to grieve - it represents a significant part of your life. But at the same time i think this means you are wanting to see your future with YOU in it? If that makes sense? We make choices and live our lives by them... there's good and bad stuff mixed up in that, i guess. But you have shown courage and I admire you for that, really.
Don't be fearful. Talk here, if it helps...
Much love,

Jeez, I feel awful today. Maybe due to my counselling session last night, I don't know.
Cried as soon as I woke up this morning. Then Mother phoned and asked me to go to a service to bury my Aunt's ashes. I'm not sure why she wants me there, probably to show me how much she's suffering. She won't be outdone by anyone else, no-one can have a worse time than her!
Please God, don't let him be there. That's just stupid though cos I know he will be. Why does she do this to me???
Today has to get better surely?
Take care of yourselves everyone :kisses3:

Oh Dear....there seems to be a bunch of sad-sacks lately...think it might just be the post-crimbo stage that's getting to some of us? There has been scientific evidence that depression is a whole lot worse around Jan/Feb, so let's hope that those of us feeling particularly down are only following the national trend........Just think guys----that makes us "normal";)
Not doing too well here
BIL has decided to forgo any further treatment apart from pain relief, & unfortunately the doc agreed with him. Basically, chemo might give him a couple more weeks but he would be terribly sick with the effects. So he's decided to spend whatever time he has left, feeling the best that is possible......His wife is distraught; thinking he should be taking any & all help to fight to stay around as long as poss, but apparently the doc said he wouldn't put himself thru the agony given BIL circumstances........
Then the couple who had to say goodbye to their gorgeous four-legged waggie on Monday had another blow.....redundancy! Came out of nowhere........& they've suffered soooooo much I cannot begin to tell you
one is literally a walking time bomb with ailments that only 3 specialists in Europe have ever read about in text books:o That is why the waggie one meant so much to them cuz they cannot have children together. And they are such warm, generous, loving people.......
Why does such total carnage happen to the most wonderful people?
Sorry guys...had to get it off my chest....thanks for being here....
