    Just received my 2nd statement since the changeover. Again they have only paid single cashback not the double cashback agreed, and they have not corrected the cashback from last month that I pointed out was wrong.

    Also even though I spent over £300 on last statement, the £15 bonus hasn't been paid "on the next statement" as the paperwork stated.

    What a shambles Barlcaycard are. This 2 card arrangement is far from simpler.

    but that is the same, 1%. so whether that is 'the old Mastercard rate' or 'the new Amex rate' i guess we can't tell..

    i am expecting, and hoping, and will certainly argue for, 2% on my 5 biggest of 15 or more transactions:)

    i agree bubie...some Indian bloke telling me repeatedly that my card has now "been Upgraded" was told in easily understood English;)

    So Got My May Statement... £0 Cashback noted...
    They said it was an 'error' and they would sort it out...
    Got my June statement ... Still no Cashback from May...
    Working out the cashback noted it just does not add up!!! Not at the OLD or the New rate.. NO combination of 1/2%, 1%, 2% etc...


    Like many people I was offered the special offer of 1% cashback for 6 months... and the £15 when spending £300 and the £50 'Sorry please stay' Bonus!


    So 2 months on.. they cant tell me why the cashback is wrong! Or how it is calculated!


    What a shower of incompetent numpties... The man (or Woman) in charge of this should be sacked!!!

    I sent in another complaint, complaining that my previous complaints were still outstanding, and they have not fulfilled their claim to resolve within five days or give the name of the person dealing with my complaint.

    in early August i will be telling them what my CB should be & asking them to credit it & scrap the account...moving the limit to my other Barclaycard.
  • Anyone else out there finding these new cards hopeless, the app and online systems are not picking up new transactions, I have complained twice and been told all would be fixed but still not working, last update of transactions was 27th June ...hopeless customer service!!!!

    i have found CS to be poor, in general, over the years.
    until you get past India to Teeside.

    as it happens, same with CapitalOne. if anything, they are even worse in India. but get through to Nottingham and they are great.

    the thing is, a bit like Santander, if the deal is right...most of us find ourselves prepared to put up with it.:undecided

    The last statement date for my Barclaycard World account has arrived - email notification of "statement ready", and the account has disappeared from Barclaycard's online system. No statement, no previous transactions, no balance, "no nuffink".

    Another complaint message submitted, and I await the bog standard copy/paste message full of how brilliant the new Barclaycard Cashback card is, without a single word addressing the issues raised.

    "Clueless" would be an understatement.
