the online access to my 'Hi5' account has been great, but now everything is on a go slow...transactions are not appearing anywhere near as quickly, and the available credit is way behind too. that is frustrating, as i use that to maximise the cashback i can generate.0

Well I didn't get the copy/paste message, but I did get a phonecall from someone who was powerless to do anything (no access to anything other than my complaint message) telling me not to worry because it will be fixed on the next statement date. No offer of a paper statement or anything in the meantime, even when pressed. Completely clueless.0

i am assuming that as long as the card works, hopfully until 31st July, it will accrue cashback at 2% and 0.5%.
I was wondering about that. The tentative impression I get from the wording on the letter is that although I can continue to use the card for a month after my statement date (late July, luckily), I'm not entirely sure that I'll get the 2%/0.5% cashback beyond my July statement date.0 -
Didn't get the £15 for spending £300, (quelle surprise) like the paperwork said.
Will wait until month 3 (which has been confirmed verbally to some as when it will be paid).0 -

my July statement has arrived, and is all in order, inclusive of 2%ers. i am going to assume that i have these terms until the card stops working. i think this is the case. i haven't been directly told otherwise. so fingers crossed. and if not, i'll argue for it.:A0 -
Well I got my £50 goodwill payment and double cashback agreed when this all kicked off. Then last month my accrued cashback was showing as £72.44. Couldn't make that add up - on the double cashback rates I'd been promised I thought it should only come to £54.94. So an extra £17.50, thought maybe it was the £15 bonus plus some rounding up somewhere along the line.
Anyway, error seemed to be in my favour, so I requested it be paid before they changed their mind. Have had the credit to todays statement, but instead of it being £72.44, the credit is for £122.48 - another extra £50.04.
The calculation for the cashback on this month's statement is correct for 2% Amex and 1% Visa. No idea why they seem to have now thrown an extra £67.54 at me on top of my double cashback and the £50 compensation I've already had, but somehow I'm not motivated to complain...0 -
I Think they gave you my missing cashback by mistake! :-)
I'm still waiting for an answer.. still missing cashback and no way can the cashback stated add up.. Its NOT in my favour ALAS!!
Have marked the 'Cancel Barclaycard' date on the calendar now.. and I'm going to switch bank accounts to Santander 123 as well...
If I can switch my mortgage I will also do that as Barclays are totally useless and do not deserve me as a customer IMHOI am NOT a Woman! - its Overland Landy (as in A Landrover that travels Overland)
Better to be approximately right than precisely wrong.0 -
I've got an ext 4p on the %1 and %2 calculation and then an extra £5.76 over the addition of this months CB to the running total.
It may well be in my favor, but is shows their system has fundamental calculation issues. And next time how do you know it wont be in their favor.
Oh, and my summary still show 0.5% and blank.0 -
Another complaint going in tomorrow from me, cash back isn't showing up correctly, no sign of the double rate I was promised etc.
Barclaycard are a shambles!Live long and prosper0 -
Just had BC on the phone to me and been told that my double cash back will be showing correctly in my July statement. The person reiterated that they are experiencing technical issues blah blah to which I responded that I'd been told the same weeks ago and that it simply wasn't good enough for a company the size of BC, as to compensation that I requested owing to inconvenience and the fact that they hadn't followed through on documented promises my account is to be credited with a £20 good will gesture. Finally, the £15 bonus for having spent more than £300 on the cards in the first 3 months will show on either my 3rd or 4th month statement since migration.
All the will happen, good gesture, promises etc I'll believe when I see them.
Keep at them folks, don't let the b******s get away with anything.Live long and prosper0
