Barclaycard World MasterCard (Ex Egg Money) Being Replaced with Amex + Visa Combo

I had a phonecall from customer services a couple of days ago. Very apologetic about the issues with the double cashback etc. I was assured it was being sorted and would be correct by the time of the next statement.

She offered to add the cashback manually and a further 25 as a goodwill gesture, which I accepted.

Now the account is showing two customer service credits. One for 25 and the other for the same amount as the cashback indicated on the previous statement. That is slightly more than the missing 1% for the amex as it included some small amounts spending on the visa and mastercard.

I couldn't begin to predict what will be on the next statement! If I get the autocorrection as well to bring the cashback up to the promised double amount, that will effectively result in 3% cashback for last month, which would be nice as I spent quite a large amount on the amex.

Just checked my account and I have had three goodwill credits, £50, £4.49 & £0.29.

That might be related to my cashback. Or might not.

No message to me about it.

Just had a call from Barclaycard CS following my complaint last week.

Said fix had been applied for July onwards and that they would manually credit the correct double cashback for June along with a further £25 for the inconvenience.

Well I'm not getting any love this time.

I've been told the fix has been implemented and the cashback will be corrected.

But no manual credit or £25 for me.

As we are arranging to correct your Barclaycard account with June 2014 Cashback and add to your cashback balance therefore, it is not possible to manually credit the missing cashback. I can also assure you that you will not lose the cashback you have earned.

Bunch of amateurs, they really are!

Do none of these people ever talk to each other and arrange a consistent approach to responses?

I've had four goodwill credits added to my account yesterday. One for £50 and three smaller credits ranging from 21p to £7.14!

They didn't come back to me via my second email, so i phone them up,they told me double cashback will be sorted out on my next statement. I asked for a goodwill payment of £25 and cost of my phone call £5. They said they will add £30 to my account.

Does anyone know how, or if, we can claim under the missed event insurance for tickets bought on the Mastercard just prior to account migration to Visa/Amex? Recovering from surgery here, and not up to my usual digging to find out the details, so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!
