update: cashback magically appeared on my account overnight with the amount correctly calculated for May and June spending.0 -

Correctly...as in the double cashback rate? (2% AmEx, and 1% Visa?)0 -

Calculated as 1% for Amex (haven't used the Visa since it was issued). I wasn't on a double cashback offer as I didn't complain. Maybe I should have.
I'm happy enough with the 1% for Amex. All of the places where I do my big spending (Tesco, Amazon, Expedia) all accept it. I'll just keep the Visa in a safe place as a spare.0 -

it's entirely up to you, of course..but if i were you i would be straight on to them trying to get your rate doubled. they wouldnt budge with me, but it wasnt for want of trying, and i got some other payments for the messing around, and don't mind not using the new cards anyway0 -
As with other people, my cashback calculation isn't showing correctly, in that it appears I have no Amex spending and therefore no cashback is showing in the calculation. My Visa cashback is showing as 0.5%, although I disagree with the Visa spending (I spent £2.11 but only £2.10 has been included in calculation)
However, although the calculation isn't showing correctly, I have earned 2% cashback on my Amex spending and 1% on Visa which leaves a difference of £3 between their calculation and mine (in my favour!) It seems that my MasterCard spending after the new cards were issued has been calculated at 2% with spending before continuing to be calculated at 1%. This gives a difference of 3p.
Strange but I'm happy. Have requested my cashback and been told it will be credited to account on next statement date (as a credit to account not a payment)0 -
Has anyone else had trouble accessing your new cashback account on the Barclaycard online site? Since my World MasterCard was replaced with an AmEx and a Visa I've not been able to access my transactions or statements even though my Barclaycard Freedom and Classic card accounts are still showing in my online service.
I've just finished my fourth call to Barclaycard and the operative told me today that lots of people have complained about the same problem and they've no idea how long it'll take to fix.
Is anyone else having this issue and is there a any explanation? I've had to request paper statements in the mean time.0 -

Thank you, g6jns.
What's happened to me is an inconvenience more than anything. I don't use the card an awful lot and they have provided paper statements when requested to, so I guess they're probably complying with regulations.
Just seems like a real own goal when they sent so many fancy flyers telling me how much better the new cards are and despite getting less cash back on a card that's not as widely accepted, I can't satisfy myself by checking my spending until the postman comes. I'm lucky to have other cards I can use until Barclaycard sort themselves out.0 -

Thank you for your e-mail.
In regards to your query may I first assure you that your Barclaycard account is registered for double cash back however due to a technical issue the cash back amount has not been applied correctly.
The issue is under investigation and and correct cash back will be applied on your account shortly.
Kind Regards,
Has anyone received double cashback?0 -
Nah, I have followed up with a second message - not a bean in reply.0
