i noted the NFD card's red edges when it arrived last week.
you need to get a Barclays Premier card, with it's bright blue edges offset on a black background.
i don't keep them when they expire though;)

I also recall having two green Egg cards at one point. Was one a Visa and the other a Mastercard? I forget now but I know one was just Egg whilst the other was the cashback Egg Money card.

Already received my shiny new Amazon cards and will close Barclaycard once I get the £15 bonus, and Im still hoping to be offered the extra bonus.

When did you apply?

I applied whilst ordering something from Amazon the other day but it was outwith office hours so I didn't get an instant decision. Not yet heard anything further by either email or post.

Tuesday 4th. Was an instant acceptance with £10k credit. Cards arrived earlier this week.

Without wishing to be nosey, do you mind if I ask whether you already hold an MBNA card? I'm just wondering how it might impact on their decision to issue another. I'm half expecting them to decline my application.

No I don't. Although many years ago my Conran Cashback Card was possibly run by MBNA....

£50 credit and double cashback for 6 months - a secure message did the trick as I didn't get anywhere on the phone. Still be cancelling after those 6 months are up unless they make another offer. I think Barclaycard are running scared having 'slightly' miscalculated ......

After a brief spell of secure message ping-pong, I got the 6-months double cashback plus a goodwill gesture of 50 quid :T

They also honoured my requests not to phone, and all communication was handled via the messaging system. Quite impressed, actually.
