Hi Sa1sysoo, the 11 stone mark seems to be my sticking point as well. I have managed to stick to that weight (give or take a couple of lbs) for the past 2 years. It seems that everytime I get to that weight (or just below it) I sabotage myself by eating the fridge :rotfl: My weigh in this morning has put me at exactly 11 stone and this time I'm determined to break through that barrier.
I'm hoping that with the support of this thread I'll be able to do it this time:D

hi, iwilldoitthistime. I too work full time and have a 21month old son. Managed to gain 3 stone during pregnancy and after (and I'd only lost the weight to get pregnant!).

Gosh this sounds so familiar! I gained many stone (don't even know how many!) during pregnancy and after. I also work full time and have a 19 month old daughter. I don't manage to get too much exercise but at least once a week, my husband will put my daughter to bed and I will go for a swim. If I can get out the house for 7pm, I can be back around 8pm with dinner ready to make, daughter asleep and 50 lengths done. It's a shame that the gym closes at 8pm on a Sunday too - i was kicked out the pool this weekend and only did 42 lengths :(.

Hi everyone, just a quick post to report a 2lb weight loss. I'm really pleased with this and quite surprised actually as I was not good with the diet at the weekend. Just hope it doesn't catch up with me next week. Well done to all the losers and maintainers, have a good week everyone.

Thanks all for your kind words and gentle support. I’m still feeling a little down and to be honest it’s most unlike me.

efreize – my ‘lightbulb’ moment was browsing one of the older threads and realising that it was something that I could achieve here with all this support. I know that element hasn’t changed so it’s just me being well out of sorts with myself :( As to your question of clothes – WOOT – yes!! I got back into my favourite black trousers the other week when I went out and my best friend rang me the next day to tell me I looked lovely and really slim. Even after that comment though I’m still not motiviated.

Gods victory – every time you post it makes me wince for wallowing in my own self pity! You not only tackled your weight head on with superb results but you have all these other problems to contend with as well. Will eating and not loosing weight make me happy? Hmm… on the one hand is a definite NO I do need (want?) to lose weight but on the other hand I’d be happy to eat, at the moment, and not gain. Oh

oops a daisy – TOTM? I used to always say that since a major op in my early 30s that I didn’t have one. Interestingly though I’m sure I’ve had a similar episode in the last six months^^ The threads are too large for me to check back so I’ll keep a note of this date…

Awww Petrichor – many thanks for the hug. Now I feel close to tears.

Congrats on the new job Katmad and welcome back :j

Thanks also Suggs – yes the post made sense. I’ve been thinking about the class and although staying to class isn’t as good (down to the way the two consultants run things differently) it may also be the fact that I don’t know anyone. Hardly surprising if I no longer stay to them! OH has convinced me to keep going until I go to Vegas in about 7 weeks and see how I feel then.

My actual mental reward would be belly pork with all the fat left on and collect the dripping on loads of bread, a whole pizza to myself,

LOL - way to kill my appetite :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oops^^ Seems I’m not alone in feeling so down this week – maybe it’s something in the water.

Welcome  to all new friends and congrats to those whose weight is still going in the right direction – especially efreize this week. I never realised just how much you’d lost before

Katmad – I always have a ‘neutral’ breakfast. Anything that is free on either a green day or a red day. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast with cottage cheese – and don’t forget those scrambled eggs!!

I lost 0.5 lb this week Lois

Oh, oh…. I just remembered that I have a knee length skirt in the back of a cupboard that I’ve had since I was 18 (a lifetime ago now ><). It has a zip all the way up and no waistband. If I can get that over my hips without unzipping it I’ll be dead chuffed. Couldn’t do it at 18 but would love to do it now.

Going to book myself a VIP tour of Universal Studios now – see if that cheers me up any.

Have a good day all :j
