Lose Weight 13

Hi Guys,
Well done, Victory 3lbs off and you weren't even trying ! Well done everyone else who's lost weight! Had an average weekend, diet wise - but had a great time at home, Just OH, DS and me. I just wish it would stop raining over here. I'm getting really fed up with it.
Is there anyone on here following Paul McKenna's plan? I have vague memories of someone on LW12 saying they were. I just wanted to know how they're getting on with it? A friend lent me her copy of his book and it seems really simple, and you can apply the principles of his plan if you are calorie counting (although I'm sure Mr. McKenna would say that they are incompatible.
Followed some of his advice today just to try it and I haven't gone over my calorie allowance yet - in fact, I've snacked less today than any other day and feel quite upbeat about what I'm doing. .... think it's the visualisation exercise that he does has put my goal firmly in my mind (right down to the clothes I'm wearing!). It's quite eye opening, how little I actually felt hungry and simply used my work routine to eat!
Welcome Rusty and all other newbies.... you'll do great!Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -

I thought I'd let you know that my menu plan for this week is as follows:-
Monday....... Chicken and Roast Vegetable Wraps
Tuesday...... Grilled Fresh Salmon, Cous Cous and salad
Wednesday.. Frittata and salad
Thursday .....Garlic Beans and chargrilled vegetables
Friday ..........Fish Fingers and Potato Waffles (again!)
DD said something to me today that I hadn't really noticed before, when I was preparing tonights dinner she asked me if I was having the same as them, when I said that I was she said that she was pleased that I had eaten the same food as them (her and MrP) last week and that I was doing the same today. She said that she'd felt that I was doing healthy stuff for myself but not for them, whereas I thought that I was doing the food for them that they liked so as not to think that I was depriving them of it and thinking that I was making them diet as well! Although MrP has always said that he didn't mind eating what I had because he could always get himself something else later if he felt hungry. Silly as it may seem, I hadn't thought about it from their point of view - well DD's view as MrP hasn't noticed. This is certainly an added bonus to meal planning that I hadn't bargained for...
...Hi rustynash and welcome to out friendly bunch of losers
I'm pleased to see that you're already eating healthy foods it seems that you just need to eat the right amount :rotfl: (like some of us here portion control is sometimes in the realms of fantasy
) so you're in good company here, stay with us...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter

hi. feeling really down today dont know where i am going wrong. i have been doing slimming world for 3 weeks now, the first week i lost 2lb. the second week i messed up and the third week i kinda got back on track and only lost 1lb. slightly disappointed as i have started to exercise regularly for a week now.
its so tired cooking for myself, my husband as he dosnt have slimming food, also looking after my two kids, 2 years old and a 5 month old. plus doing regular exercise. towards the end of the day i can feel my legs shaking but weighed myself today but was still the say weight.
another thing i have noticed is that i tend to eat literally 'as much as i want' i get excited with free foods and think i can eat and eat and will still lose weight..is that where i am going wrong? i feel i am.
ii am so frustrated. i have 3 stones to lose so one would assume i wouldnt slow down, maybe i am impatient,
got really fed up y'day and i subscribed to the slimming world magazine.
sorry for venting here but really have no one else to vent at. my DH keeps telling me to chill but i cant, i have had enough of being fat, want to wear nice clothes feel good about myself,
sorry for laying my burden on to you lot, just want to advice,
(feel so light now)0 -

i am going to sit and study the SW books tonight and then i'm going to throw myself into it tomorrow!! i'll be out with friends so it will be tricky but i have to learn how to do it in the 'real world' as well as home as soon as possible! no excuses!!!
welcome rustynash!!! shame about your bike getting pinched! but hey it means you can walk everywhere - it's free exercise!!! Lol!!
