.... blinking flip. "Pretty happy" ???? You should be celebrating with a doner kebab, ample champagne and a huge box of Belgian chocolates :)

    Great stuff, well done :T

    Hi everyone
managed to resist the pringles and pudding at picnic last night :A Thoroughly relished one piece of mum's home made chicken pie as a treat. :D Mind you not much chance to tuck in unnoticed as mum (bless, lovely in so many other ways) announced loudly to her neighbours who were with us that I was dieting :o . I did ask if she like a megaphone with her crisps as I wasn't sure if the entire audience and cast had heard her:rotfl:

Petrichor - had your pasta bake on Thurs and it was delicious. Thanks:T Will definitely be having that regularly. How's your 1st week of menu planning going?
Ajax -I'm getting converted to quorn after a slow start. ;) Just ordered the thai fillets in my Sains interent shop (.5 syn each - not the ones in a sauce).Added quorn pieces to Petrichor's pasta bake and really delicious.
Sains reduced fat mature cheddar is lower in fat that Cathedral city if you get a chance to shop in Sains (Fat 15% vs 21% Sat fat 10% vs 14%)

Half way through the week everyone, time to focus for the downhill run to the weekly weigh in. I too find that exercise doen't show til the week after so don't get disheartened if your scales don't reflect what you have been doing straight away. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get on them too often, but other times I do find it helps keep me focussed.

I've got a great recipe for low fat banoffi pie :T our SW leader brought in this week. Great for a treat/birthdays. Let me know if anyone wants it.
    2.5 syns for decent portion.

Hi there :hello: can I join in too please

have just found out about this thread when somebody else was recommended it over on old style. I havent read through it all yet but I will be having a good look later on tonight.

I need to lose 10lbs - all put on over the last year with various failed attempts at packing in smoking and a passion for magnums ( naughty My Tesco putting them on BOGOF :o ) also far too much old style cooking of Muffins and Cookies.

I got my monthly issue of Prima this week and there seems to be a good diet in there that I am going to tweak and try to follow. I have 3 weeks before I have a wedding to attend ( not my own ) and then I go off on holiday so the bikini becons :o

I am starting a new job in 5 weeks time so I am off till then so will also be trying to do at least 1 hour of excercise a day - mainly running as the weather is hopefully getting a bit better now but my problem is over eating the wrong things not lack of excercise.

Well done on your weight loss Maniac - how did you do 6lbs in 1 week, thats fantastic :T I will have a look through the thread to see if there is any more information there.

got to go and pick up DD from dancing now but cant wait to get started and am going to have to eat up all the naughty stuff tonight so that I can start tomorrow.
