thanks ajazgeezer :hello:
the problem that I have with eating on a night is what I eatnormally magnums ( I looovvvvve magnums ) crisps, popcorn ( the sweet kind ) cakes, anything sweet really.
I have just worked out the calorie content of the meal plan that I have made and it is well below 1500 calories per day so may not be enoughbut it does include foods that I do like so Im going to try it for a few days and see how I get on. Im also trying the slimfast stuff on a lunchtime because Im lazy but will change that for proper food after I have lost the weight which will push up the calorie content per day and hopefully push me up to a good maintenance level. I will also change some of the salad days to veggie days with the meat or fish which will push up the calorie count too.

Right then, banoffee pie. You're talking to a man who goes into Frankie & Bennys and drools through two courses until the banoffee sundae appears, then goes into banoffee heaven. Please start talkin'

Sorry to keep you hanging on. We went for a healthy walk up on the South Downs :A
Ok Ajax ,Suggs and Victory, see what you make of this.
My SW group leader's was about 10" diametre with these ingredients. I plan to make a much smaller one so we don't have too much to eat between the 2 of us here! ( She was given the recipe via chef demonstration on a SW leader's day)
Ingredients: 8 ginger nut biscuits, crushed 20 syns
6 toffee Muller light yogurts
artificial sweetener
2 sachets gelatine
4 medium sized bananas, sliced and
tossed in lemon juice
Method: Crush the biscuits and line a flan ring. Empty the yogurts into a bowl and mix with the artificial sweetener to desired taste. To make up the gelatine follow the manufacturer’s instructions on sachet and leave to cool. Then add to the yogurt mixture. Layer the slices of banana on top of the biscuit base and pour the yogurt mixture over the bananas. Leave in fridge to chill for several hours, then serve.
Syns per recipe: Green: 20 for total, 2 for a slice
Red: 20 for total, 2 for a slice
This recipe serves 10 people, so go on, treat yourself and your family to a delicious desert.Let me know what you thinkBrighton belleI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
I'll have to check out the Sainsburys cheese with my consultant but I see no reason why it shouldn;t be a HEa on that evidence - cheers.
Hi Ajax
I certainly use this cheese as a HE and see no reason why you shouldn't be able to. Let me know if your leader rhinks it's a nono.Couldn't cope without my cheese fix:D

Hi all
Just had a quick skim through the posts - been busy today as I had 24 items coming to an end on ebay, so I've been busy with despatch, and shopping, and housework, and getting my haircut, and tonight took neighbours dog for a walk and stayed chatting with them over coffee - where did the day go?
Well done Maniac, 6lbs is an excellent result, keep up the good work (and don't let Ajax lead you into temptation!)
I've got a lovely recipe for banoffee pie, but as it's about 2,000 calories per portion I think I'll keep it to myself! I'll have a look for a carrot cake recipe for you Suggs. Actually, isn't carrot cake free food? It's made of carrots...!
Petrichor - missed you on IM last night, I always seem to be the only one on line - I'm sure we'll get to have a chat sometime soon.
Tallgirl - business eating is a nightmare, I'd be the size of a house if I did it all the time.
Welcome to all the new faces - I'll get to know your names when I've got a bit more time. It's approaching the witching hour and I'm about to turn into a pumpkin so better get off to bed.
Have a nice Sunday - I hope the weather is good for everyone, we could do with some sunshine before we all go rusty.

.... thanks BB, I'll ask but I'm certain it will be a HEa after looking at those numbers. Good find
As for the Banoffee..... Muller light
.. they are not suitable for veggies
...... I can't remember if Morrisons range of free yogurts have a toffee (I think they do), and even if they do the nearest Morrisons is light years from here. Even then there's the gelatine... even Holland and Barrett don't do a gelatine substitute. This may take a while

there is a WW recipie for filo bannoffee pie here http://www.weightwatchers.co.uk/food/rcp/index.aspx?recipeId=7012052 - not sure of the calories though as it uses a can of sweetened condensed milk. It is 3 WW points per serving
Could you do a kind of low fat cheese cake with banana on top to keep the calories low
Well done on all the Ebaying Lois Lane - I am going to try to get some stuff on there tonight as part of the the Olympic Challenge. Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -

Aw......cheer up Ajax
Try this recipe - it has toffee flavour muller light, but I'm sure you can get toffee in other brands, maybe Tesco? (Or are they not suitable for veggies either?) The recipe is really simple to make, but delicious *licks lips*

When I think about the time it takes to list everything (measuring, photo'ing, writing the description..) and then how long it took me to package all the sales yesterday, I think I should just give the stuff to the local charity shop!
...and I've still got to take them to the post office to get a certificate of posting in case the buyer claims it didn't arrive.
What's the Olympic Challenge?

Hi all,
I don't usually eat anything sweet except fruit but now after reading all the recent posts I really want some banoffee pie or cheese cake.
My eating problem is cheese, I love it and can't control myself. I have tried grating a little bit onto my spelt flour bread and it helps a little but not much. I think the menu planning helps to stop me grazing too much on the wrong things as I have now put lunches and snacks in menu plan. It save money too. I didn't weigh myself for this week as I am sure i have gained weight, lets hope for an improvement next week.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
