In order to keep up to date (my weigh in is Thurs) I have weighed on my own scales (I'm hoping they are on the heavy side and I will get a bonus tomorrow!) I have lost 1lb this week, 3lb last week and 3lb the week before (if you don't mind updating me Lois, thanks)
I am hungry at the moment, hoping my stomach will shrink soon, but it makes a change, I don't remember being hungry, I just used to graze whenever. I know I shouldn't go hungry but I think I would just constantly eat. I must get to grips with drinking more water. My fluid intake is next to zero and I never feel thirsty!
Good luck all, hope you have all had a good week.
Glad you enjoyed your meal, Petrichor. If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
Speedy and slightly miserable post of a 1lb gain.
Not that surprised, as I haven't been to the gym at all and I haven't been watching what I eat as closely as I should.
I'm thinking I may deserve the smacked bottom, or even worse... the crushing stick... Bad Sa1!!
Anyway, day one club today... Here's hoping no one else needs to join me!OH OD - £100.00/£100.00 Joint OD - £100.00/£100.00StepChange: £10,057.670 -
well done bb empty and delly :j :j
petrichor glad you enjoyed your dinner out, very happy to hear you did not mean the souffle pots as I had visions of starving to death:rotfl: :rotfl: can't claim the ice cream scoops as mine;) the nutritionalist told me that one, she rightly says if you know exactly how much you should have and measure it out with the scoop then you feel more relaxed around food, it is the knowing that will make sure there is no weight gain and no waist damage:D
sa1 A 1LB is easily lost, it is not massive, better to know now what you did not do with just a 1lb gain than not know and gain a stone and then have to shift that!! The exercise will help,if you don't fancy the gym, try swimming or cycling or walking around the park...0 -
Hi everyone, welcome to the newbies. I would like to report a 2 1/4 lb loss this week. If I can loose 4lb next week I will be under 9st and I haven't been that for quite a few years so I'm going to try really hard to acheive this. Not sure that I will as I have been steadily losing 1 - 2 lb a week but I'm going to try. I've just been looking back at my weight loss record and in April I was 10st 7 and now I'm 9st 3 3/4 so I've got 17 3/4 lb left to lose.
Well done all the losers, have a good week everyone.0 -
TallGirl - great challenge on. I will start Monday - got a party Saturday and will cheat so no point starting til Monday if that is ok with you.
Also can anyone explain to me how to use that Frylite spray properly please.
I know this sound stupid but I just think the stuff is useless and horrible. What is it?
I tried to do some homemade oven chips with it the other day and ended up using about 30 sprays as it just disintergrates.
What am I doing wrong?Lydia

well done misty great frame of mind now, come on you can do it, come on:j :j
lydia the fry light is supposed to be just a coating of oil that way reducing the oil intake and what it adds in calories to the food as well as being healthier for you... when I first started using it was a bit put off as it sprays white but that is normal and then you spray enough to coat the pan and cook as normal....they have brought out sprays for the salads now balsamic vinegar and ceasar salad but I have not been able to buy it anywhere!0 -

I am still being dim - I just can't seem to cook with it. A woman I work with uses it to cook roast dinners and everything?Lydia

Morning All
Firstly the bad news, my own laptop has decided after 8 months to give up on me, so its back to Acer it goes, DHL picking it up tomorrow. So for now I am using the work laptop for 'home' use as well. So visiting here will depend on workload etc as I have to drop the 'vpn' connection to visit websites I dont want work to see
So Goodluck to Lydia and Tallgirl on your little challenge, hopefully the verbal josting will keep the pair of you on your toes
Well dones to Dellybelly, Bargain Babe, emptypocketz, mistywoo, Brighton Belle and if I miss anyone out I do apologise nowSa1sysoo as the Great Victory has said (
) a lb is nothing and will soon be gone, someone made my laugh on here when they said they had a number 2 and the lb was gone
Homealone, I can only ehco the kind works that have already been written, if your holiday is so close, I guess the best thing is to enjoy the holiday and have fun, after all isnt that the very reason we choose to go on holiday? When I go away, I am not as strict on myself, so take the next few days and the holiday as pratice for the real thing, then come back all smiley and gorgeous, full of fun and then lets make a start?
Petrichor and Lois, this msn thing is up and running for me, so be warned
Right back to work for me, gym later
Take Care
