You will come back and keep us all motivated after your holiday, won't you?
LL
Yes of course, in the meantime I come on here every day as I need it to stay focused;)
By the way, CONGRATULATIONS VICTORY! That is an amazing achievement, and you are giving a lot of us inspiration. Do you get nice comments from friends/family when you haven't seen them in ages?
Yes I do, that and how are you going to maintain now? you have done the easy bit, now what are you going to eat? You can't have that, you can't do this, etc etc!!!! My H keeps telling me now...you can eat that, you can have that, we can go out here because you are no longer trying to loose weight, true but it is not a food fest now, otherwise what was the point?
I felt a bit lost yesterday getting to goal weight, what to do? Go and get blind drunk, have a medieval banquet in celebration or just pat myself quietly on the back and get on with what I eat now?!! I chose to eat what I am having as I have a very long hol coming up in just over 2 weeks and so if I can loose a tiny bit more then I can have a tiny bit more paella! You see it is all worthwhile in the end, the sacrifice is rewarded!!
petrichor I know what you mean about not wanting to go out, I am the same, sometimes you have to let go, go out and enjoy it but make up for it in calories the rest of the time, when we went to the fish restaurant I spoilt it for H by looking very closely at the food that was infront of me, what the calories could be etc the last time we went to the Harvester and it seemed more salad, diet friendly and relaxed with it, still never had starter or dessert, no bread and butter and just stuck to the main course and diet coke so knew there would be no over-all damage, that is the way to do it I suppose to be aware and if you go over cut back the next day...0 -
Wow 6 pages already I can't keep up.
Congratulation Victory that is fantastic now keep it up and enjoy your new self.
Petrichor hope you get your doggie hand bag, how about a photo on here o we can all see it. Don't worry about Thai food it is really nice in particular green curry. I don't know about calories etc but it is la bit like an Indian curry sauce just lighter and more fragrant I find. Jasmin rice is also very nice. I know it can be hard to go out somewhere you don't think you will like the food but this is for your DD and BF. I am sure you will find something you will like - just dont let the names put you off.
I was not very good yesterday. Spent 5 1/2 hours in the car so had to have a latte (full milk) and a carrot cake at the meeting. Rubbish. HM chips and cold chicken with a glass of wine for dinner. I did on a good note go to the gym 30 min crosstrainer and 1 hour bodybalance. Really good.
Welcome to all newbies good luck I am sure you will find support from all the lovely people on here. I knew nothing about diet, cals, gyms etc when I joined last August but I have learned so much.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Morning all. Weigh-in result for this morning was a loss of 1.5 lbs. Total loss 61 lbs. Starting to really feel that I look better - I was even willing to have pictures taken of myself with my daughter this weekend while we were away in Norway AND send them to people! All good.0

Morning friends
How are we all this morning? Weigh in this morning at home, didnt make it to SW last night due to school holidays - first day of 8 weeks summer holidays for kids and I was a wreck by tea time last nigh :rotfl: Anyway, enough waffling, I lost 2lbs :T Its unofficial as it wasnt by SW scales but they weigh the same as the ones my mum has. If I weigh in next week at SW I will adjust the loss (positive thinking, eh?) to reflect this weeks.
I am really missing chatting with you lot properly - its difficult to get online for any length of time when I am at my parents - I really just want to get a roof on my house and move home. Its very unsettling being homeless and its made me feel very grateful for what I have.
Good Luck with the weigh ins

Hi Vixx - weigh in day is Wednesday, but don't worry about this week as you've only just started. Post your weight loss next Wednesday - it won't matter that it's more than 1 week, we won't hold it against you even if you win Slimmer of the Week!

I have just got back from seeing the nurse at my GP's surgery. I have been told I could do with loosing a stone. Am mortified!
I knew I could shift a few pounds but a stone seems so huge!
Am feeling really low about now actually. I eat healthily - just portion control I think.
Any good tips?Lydia
