    well done VICTORY:j:j:j:j:j:j

You are such an inspiration to all of us. I can't add anything else. I only popped on to see how things were going .. phew 3 pages since last night, you lot have been busy. Thanks Lois for the recipe for roasted vegs. Can you tell me what the calorie content is? Approximately?

Had a really busy day at work today but didn't get much walking round. Weighed myself this morning following last nights monster meal out and I've gained 2lbs. It's just as well my official weigh in isn't until Wednesday, but I won't be too upset with a gain. I've started filling in my food log on the calorie counting website - it's a real eye opener isn't it? I've already eaten all of my food for today. It's just as well I'm planning on cleaning floors when I've finished my post on here. By the time I'm done I'll only be fit for a glass of water and bed.

WELL DONE EVERYONE WHO'S LOST THIS WEEK! I'm not jealous..... not really.

Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

The calorie breakdown for the whole dish is as follows:

    Creamed tomatoes - 500g - 110 cals
    Chopped tomatoes - 400g - 84 cals
    Pasta - 200g - 720 cals
    Cheese - 56g - 226 cals
    Roast vegetables - 750g - 185 cals

    Total - 1325

When I make it I serve a larger portion to DH than I have myself, probably about 60% for him and 40% for me, and estimate the calories accordingly, which would be about 530. You'll probably split it 3 ways, so you'll need to estimate what proportion of the total amount you have yourself.

    Hope this helps.

    LL

p.s. not sure if you use the Calorie-Count.com website that Erlqueen recommended, but there's a recipe analyser function there that I used to work out the calories for roast vegetables. It works with some things better than others, and for this one I had to input 'eggplant' instead of aubergine to get it to work. I thought as it's a US site that they'd call courgettes zuchini, but they don't!

scooper I'm sorry I missed you out yesterday, I don't know how  but you did the right thing by reposting although someone would have picked you up later :D . I'm 5'3" too and every lb shows on us doesn't it? Have you tried one of the weightloss sites mentioned earlier? They are v helpful, because it depends on your build etc and whether you've already been dieting, but I've checked back in my diary and when I was at your weight I was averaging 1250 cals per day. For you to lose 1st by the end of August should be quite easy especially if you carry on with the dvd and dog walking tied in with a healthy eating plan :j Give it a go and stay with us, let us know how you're getting on and join in the monthly challenges too!! ...

...zpacey Do what I do and put the money that you save from not paying to attend WW into a pot for yourself, so that when you reach your target you can treat yourself :j and Good Luck! You will do it!! Why don't you join in the monthly challenges too, they will help to keep you on the straight and narrow :D ...

...xxxdarlingxxx I can't help you re the code, sorry, but perhaps someone else here can. If you're struggling why not stay here and join our happy band, the support is great and helps to keep you focused. Calorie free lemon cakes? What's the recipe? ;)

    LL

:rotfl: :rotfl: I wish!!! MrP and DD love cakes so I've continued to make them so that they don't feel deprived, but DD weighed herself yesterday and found out that her ol' mum was only 7.6 lbs heavier than her (I'm taller) so it appears that MrP will be having the cakes all to himself :D ...

Have stolen some ideas from peoples weekly menus, I have never planned in advance before. I tend to open freezer and decide on spur of moment what to do but then veg goes off, doesnt get used and gets thrown out:o I am def going to try it now, have ordered box of fruit and veg today and will plan out menu whilst OH is on nights, stick it up and stand back and see who moans first:rotfl: :rotfl:

This made me feel so much better jo :o I am a terrible waster but even though my plan only started yesterday, it's helped already as I didn't call into the shops yesterday which I would have done normally. I'm determined to stick to it this week :j ...

...silly delly :p you should never weigh yourself the morning following a lovely meal out the night before, I say this because...

...tonight I'm going out for a celebratory meal, and I know that it's not nice of me to say, but I don't really want to go because I don't want to put any weight on. Perhaps some of you may remember the other week I told you that DD had just learned that she had got a very good job (her first proper one really) and that normally we celebrate her achievements, but I held back because I was so close to my target. Well, her BF has since got his degree and as I've reached, and passed my target, I can't find any other excuse not to go. We gave them the choice of restaurant and fortunately they've chosen Thai (vomitsw2.gifI'd say that I hate the stuff, but I've never had any really, I just don't like the sound of it, greeeeeen curry!!!). I shall stick to sparkling mineral water and not bother with wine, MrP will be driving anyay, so that should help. However, whatever happens I will not weigh myself tomorrow morning and just work on another loss for next week :D ...

...We (DD and I) are going shopping today too for our Radley handbags (also mentioned the other week), we were to have done this last week but the floods prevented it. The shopping centre that we were going to is still only partially open, so we're sticking to the city centre shops today :j ...

Sorry I'm back so soon but I would like to say thankyoume9.gifto efrieze :A

Last week I mentioned that I would like to see my weight loss in graph form, so that it would help me to maintain my new found target. Well, as can be expected here on this fabulous thread, help was at my fingertips and she offered to prepare one for me and now has! :T ...

...I've printed it out so that it is a constant reminder of the hard earned success :j ...

You really are a fabulous bunch
