I am too tired to concentrate on much else right now so I thought I would regale you a naughty puddy-tat story...

Mog runs around while I sleep in preparation for a night shift. If she is naughty she will attack my feet, if she is feeling affectionate she will get so close to my face and sometimes restrict my breathing:p - the best option all round is to leave the bedroom window open for her as it occupies her for ages just to sit on her fat furry behind and watching the dickie birds...

However...since she has figured out a way to climb up the neighbor's fence, onto the conservatory and scratch and scrape her way into my first floor bedroom I have figured that if she wants to go out she can go that way too.

It seems though that her antics have attracted the attention of the little tortie puddy tat next door who is only 8 months old but very inquisitive.

I wake up this evening to hissing and spitting and growling Mog with a poofed up tail angry cause the Tortie (how apt for htis month) has managed to get on top of the conservatory and was one leap from getting into my room...

Mog was either going to jump out and attack it or Tortie was coming in.
It scared the living daylights out of me and wasted an hours kip as they kept growling through the window.... eventually Tortie left but it amused me greatly that this tiny cat could be so intuitive and follow mine up into the house...

I like cats - they amuse me!!!

    Morning all.

Well I had a very nice surprise on Friday night :) Unbeknown to me, the little fella has been asking their dad if he can stay over for the weekend. On Friday night he said yes, so he took two youngest sons yesterday afternoon and they will be back tonight :T
The joke of it is, as this hardly ever happens and I didn't know it was going to happen, I don't know what to do with myself. Yesterday I was doing housework and today will be me time. I may pop next door to see my neighbour early as last week, I was physically falling asleep :o

Kat-lol at the duel at noon situation with moggy :D

Thrifty lass-have you tried everything to get baby moving ;) my daughter was 8 days late and a that got her out the next morning :D
Good luck with everything-we are all routing for you :)

Missyv-Fmess is so right. And I know how you feel. But, the fact we can actually pay off the debt and then have nothing left is an achievement in itself. It won't be forever :)

Mothernerd-surely Kat will let you count the fact that DS has been left alone, as doing something for someone-you did make me laugh :rotfl:

I did have a spendy day yesterday had a brunch of jam doughnuts and midget gems :D I cannot wait till payday, credit card came in at 551.00 down from 1003.00 last month :T Well due to gas bill, I know next month will be high again :( but I will just have to weather the storm.

I did consider on friday, cutting my debt repayment from 747 per month by a couple of hundred and put back my dfd. However, because I have set my alerts and mentally told myself my dfd and even trying for christmas-I'm not giving in (cue rudimentals 'Not giving in' track, lol). I literally am borrowing then putting back from the kids, everytime the everyday spendy cc is high, but I keep thinking not long now. When you think about it, it's only 9 more paydays till the end of the year  So we must keep going :T

I have not shredded since Monday I think, so I'll do some today.

Well have a good Sunday everyone and keep going :T

Kat - Cats are so funny, I miss having a cat but we live on a road which gets quite busy sometimes and even though we have a big garden and loads of other gardens this side of the road they always have to explore further.

Thrifty - both my children were late, DS the youngest was 7 days late and the night before he was born I thought sod it and had a large glass of red wine, at 4am my waters broke.

I sold DD's outgrown mountain bike on ebay this weekend and used the money to buy DS a new mountain bike. We have been trying to get a second hand one for him on ebay locally but they have been going higher than we wanted to pay for a used one. We ended up ordering one from Tesco with 10% off, £10 off it already and used our clubcard vouchers and the money from our ebay sale paid the rest. We have his outgrown bike to sell and should get a good price for it and that will then go against the debt.

Went cycling and for a jog with DH yesterday in driving rain and hail and wind, it was horrible and we were soaked to the skin. About 15 minutes after we got back the sun was out again but you have to go when you get the time, especially when fitting it around kids and their activities.

I have been looking at a gym membership, the most convenient one is £25 a month and a £10 joining fee plus if you sign up part way through a month you pay that months cost pro rata so the first DD would be £46 then £25 from then. Despite the lure of a warm place to work out, the classes, free showers, no weather to foil my work out plans I haven't done it, I will have to stick it out with the wind and rain.

  • Ahh poor you thrifty, it sucks being overdue! Although u may not feel like it but plenty of walking is good, and bouncing on a gym ball if u have one. Or as traveller suggested, get baby out the same way you got baby in ;) worked for me!

Well I went to tesco after my stock take and spent the grand total of £15.10 very pleased with that!

Sorry to those who are struggling :( hope your feeling better soon xx

Also reposted my toddler carrier on bookface and got 3 people PM me right away  must be my lucky day!

I have some clothes to sort for cash 4 clothes and a few more bits to sort, but it looks like £100 extra will be going into the shed fund taking it up to £200 :T

Today will be SF, I've got to make bread rolls for lunches, a loaf of bread, cottage pie for tea AND chocolate chip cookies for my whingy DH:p

    MORNING!!!

I got home from work an hour early this morning ( 0700 ), couldn't find my phone. Had to get re-dressed and get back to work. I phoned it and it was switched off so took the chance and went back ( 45 min round trip ).

Running out of petrol meant I had to stop. I was running very low. I stopped at a BP with no "pay at the kiosk" service so I left without buying any. Just down the road I ran out of petrol.

Early Sunday morning, out of petrol on a roundabout known locally as "the curcus" I put my hazards on and push my 200KG bike to the next petrol station and sit on it as I cruise down a mini hill to the petrol pump.

Fill up, get phone, get home and to bed at 0900. So annoyed.

The day will be spent eating toast and drinking tea in front of the Krapdashians.

    Lessons Learned!! Groan!

just a quick one- any of you with a credit or debit card from halifax, did you know they do cashback at certain shops? just saw it on someones diary. you need to click to turn it on then select the deals you want. mine are both rubbish atm but looks like there are good ones-
