How to become glamorous?

Look at Nigella turning up for court looking sensational, thats glamour.
Glamour is well groomed & classy ;-)
Oh yes she always looks fabulous, that's the type of look I'm after. I am very aware that I'm not twenty anymore so don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb.
My mind is now turning to clothing and what looks good on a forty something woman.0 -
So far today I have .
1. Taken vitamins.
2. Eaten sensibly
3. Ordered Pilates DVD (£4)
4. Bought hair dye and a new lipstick with the help of No7 consultant.
5. Also tried sunglasses on but did not buy as I need a second opinion from a reliable friend as when I look in the mirror it's too dark to see what I look like IYSWIM.

Planks are great for core

Cannot recommend highly enough going for a proper bra fitting! The bras you have now might seem to fit ok but it can't help to double check and if you're in the wrong size the correct one will make all the difference. I'd also treat yourself to some nice but still comfortable sets of underwear. No one will know but you and wearing good quality matching underwear gives a massive confidence boost (or at least it does to me!)0

Agree -decent bra and if you are willing to spend the money a decent haircut. In my opinion a stylish haircut takes years off a woman. My Mum is in her late 50s. When her hair looks good she looks in her late 40s. When she hasn't bothered she looks her age. Ideally something that frames the face and has textured colour (not one block of colour). I know it's expensive but worth it if you can afford it.Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -
Well I have made a start sorting through my clothes and have decluttered various revolting knickers and old bras. Why I have kept them god only knows, they're in the bin now.
So now I am only going to wear fabulous undies or supporting/smoothing out ones. My bra is a good fit and comfortable.
My skin is already feeling better and I'm wearing more makeup.
My Pilates DVD is dispatched and I have taken vitamins.
I was thinking about perfume, has anyone got any recommendations?0 -
