  • Egg are offering £20 cashback if you take an additional cardholder on your Egg card. I phoned them on 08451 233 233 and the operator was a little vague, saying 'it's only for certain customers' so the details of the offer will need clarifying.

The cashback will be paid to my card by 31 Oct

The offer appears on their website on the 'Offers' box under the Egg card details section but at the moment there are no further details

Apparently for the first 8000 customers.

Some couples with separate Egg accounts have managed to put each other on earning £40
  • I got an AMEX Blue in Feb 2004 and got a free CD Player after using it for the first time.

gutted theyve put their cashback down to 0.5%

I got a MBNA card recently and spent 12 quid at mothercare on it, theyve just sent me 2 Accurist Watches (His & Hers).
Not brilliant watches, but hey for free whos grumbling.

On both cards I owe zilch, pay off total amount every month, best way. need to stay debt free to avoid the catches.

The CD player and watches will be given as gifts so some lucky nephew or neices.

Any tips on how soon to close my credit card accounts down. THE MBNA one ive only ever used it the once......
It doesnt cost anything to smile, yet when it occurs its priceless.

I just phone up. So far I have never been asked to fill in a form or anything, they just cancel it straight away.
  • I quite like the idea of the £20 from Egg for adding an extra user to my card, but I'm not keen on having this arrangement in the long term.

Has anyone managed to set up an extra user, pocket the £20, and then a few weeks later remove the extra user with impunity?

The second card is sent addressed to the principal cardholder - so the second user never even needs to see it. You can chop it up or otherwise deface it on arrival.
  • Back to the original topic...

I have so far this year made £1527.00 out of 0% credit cards. It took some hard work & attention to detail but for this I am considering rewarding myself with a BOSE music/surround sound system costing £1200.00... ;D ;D

Thank you credit cards it must be the best freebie  8) ;) plus £300.00 change to buy lots of new CDS ;D ;D :-* & £27.00 for parking and petrol.
