Okay then. You are a thicky.
I assume you have an existing MBNA card with a balance owing on it and you have recently got a Virgin card?
If this is the case you can't transfer a balance from MBNA to Virgin but you can transfer funds from Virgin to your current account. This will leave you with a balance on the Virgin card (interest free for 6 months), a lump sum in your current account and money owing (presumably with interest accruing on it) on your MBNA card.
Can I just leave the rest to you Sherlock...0 -
sorry dr watson, I havent got a virgin card as it says i am an mbna cardholder already.
good idea though !0 -
Others have posted that they hold more than one MBNA card. How did you apply and how were you turned down?0

Today I received my 6 bottles of wine courtesy of First Direct.I did have to call the wine dealer Laithwaites, who in turn harrassed First Direct.
So if you've not received your wine yet, it may be worth giving Laithwaites a call.2011 Wins - Dave Gorman Tickets :j Sony Bravia TV :beer:0 -
Just received two nice Accurist watches for the Mrs and myself for taking out an Abbey credit card and using it just once.
Well worth the effort0 -

I would be keen to explore the free DVD player angle - send me an email at teedub100@yahoo.co.uk and we can hopefully both get a player each after my application0 -
tee, you have an IM
chewbacca, it is possible to have more than one MBNA account. I have recently closed 3 of my 5 accounts with them, the 2 Alliance and Leicester cards I had were transferred to MBNA and stuffed me for free BTs. They are now asking for their 2% fee every time I enquire what's on offer. Now one of my BoS cards is going to be transferred to them, so that's another one off my BT list.
I don't know why Virgin won't let you open an account. I've just opened an Accucard with 0% for 6 months, and it is part of the LloydsTSB group. You could try for that?0 -

Nothing received - can you try again
(that is assuming that IM refers to an incoming message??)0 -
Hi tee!
IM is an Instant Message - look in the panel under your name and details and there is an Instant Message link.
If you look at the top of the page next to the Martin Lewis picture, it will read 'Hey, tee, you have...messages'
Unless it hasn't got through.
I have discovered a security issue with the offer, which I am checking out. I will deal with it tomorrow(Wednesday), I'm a bit busy today (Tuesday)0
