Thats a scary figure smartsaver!
...but, I take my virtual net hat off to you and make a deep bow! - impressive!
How many years have you been doing this may ask? ...and if I may be so bold to probe further - what kind of income funds it the well oiled process you have ! !? hehe!! ....employed? self-employed? business? racketeering? laundering!?!!
I can only imagine the 3% (average estimated guess accross all the cards !?!) minimum monthly repayment amounts to a horrific £2430 (with 4% being £3240) for say this month alone if its at £81k, I accept this decreases monthly fair enough... but that is a serious repayment figure and how anyone fronts that spare cash monthly for repayments alone for the sake of £1500+ interest all in all in addition to the creditworthyness being affected is beyond me and brings me to question...is it worth the admin hassle !!?!!!
Lopo 8)
p.s - dont buy a bose! (they miss out a sound range...)Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0 -
Some enlightened savings schemes and even offset mortgage companies administer a savings to current account sweep. This maintains a current account at a constant level during a series of standing orders at staggered intervals.

PS it is good to hear from you lopo!
You are a great read.0 -
Back to the original topic...
I have so far this year made £1527.00 out of 0% credit cards. It took some hard work & attention to detail but for this I am considering rewarding myself with a BOSE music/surround sound system costing £1200.00... ;D ;D
Thank you credit cards it must be the best freebie 8)plus £300.00 change to buy lots of new CDS ;D ;D :-* & £27.00 for parking and petrol.
Smartsaver - tell us more0 -
I agree ! More info needed!
My logistical inner workings questions remain unanswered! ???
Besides I'll say it again to buy a bose would be a waste of that effort - Separate AV Amp and speakers would be far better!! A small free moneysaver tip - whatever you do buy....stick it on a 0% card, not as if your short of any either smartsaver!!!!

I earn approx 12 k per year part time, husband earns a bit above higher tax bracket, not sure he would want me to be exact.
As for paying back - EGG can be transferred straight back into bank, MBNA's are only a fiver, the others we either take out of stoozed money - after all they are only offsetting the cards or we pay from bank as a form of saving. Do some payments by DD and some by internet banking.
Have lived at house 12 years, been with bank 16 years, have a good credit record - never paid late etc... What more can I say??
Other than I'm reconsidering the BOSE any other suggestions? As is off topic maybe via a private message.
Thanks guys0 -
Great stuff....I now give you my virtual hat aswell since its even more impressive that you began with a 10k loan debt!!
Would you go a little further and indicate roughly your total repayment for last month, this month and predicted for next month !?? Curious to know the figures juggled when dealing with 81k!! !?
Regarding the sound system....Just start looking into a separate AV amp, separate DVD player....and decent speakers & sub...then you will have a beastly system with superior sound than a bose. The more you read into it, questions will fire off in your mind, just ask them somewhere on here and indicate it to me and I'll gladly help. Of course such a systme will be a little bigger than a bose...but so worth it....Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0 -

Figures last month
B/card = 23.00
Sainsbury = 34.92
Sainsbury = 211.71
MBNA x 2 = 10.00
LloydsTSB = 72.00
LloydsTSB = 195.00
Halifax = 257.74
Accucard = 197.56
EGG = 300.00
Also have cards in transit - ie have just transferred part of my accucard balance to first direct. Will now pay off the rest of accucard with money in bank. Start using accu when full paid off as a cahback card. 8)
I now use an abbey cashback card. Will stop using this & ask to tranfer limit to Mbna then feed into cash back into savings. If you are still with me ??? :-/ Last month and next months figures are very similar. Hope it helps.0 -
