I am not getting a sniff of blood, as you put it. If you look back on my posting history then you'll see that your comment is completely uncalled for.

I don't recall saying that to you?
Or even suggesting that about you?

    Guilty conscience??

You did actually....post 74. Maybe not directly to Yorkie1, but in general.

Just need some opinions before I open my big mouth! Both my daughters are pregnant and I will become a nanna for the first and second time this year. I am really excited and very proud of both my girls.

My eldest daughter has found out this week that she is having a girl, They have chosen a very pretty first name, however the second name will be her partners mothers name. Now I am really hurt, I do not want them to name this baby (or any baby) after me, but I feel in a way that I am being snubbed.

Is it just me or would you feel the same?

Ever heard the saying - a daughter's a daughter for all her life, a son is a son until he takes a wife?

If you're close to your daughter you will be able to be close to your grandaughter.

    Whatever happens!

Yorkies post was quoted in post 74. I can see why they said what they did.

This board is far from the only place on this site where people disagree.

Why is this even an issue. If the op isn't happy surely she can vocalise this herself.

Sorry, got that wrong. It was post 72 that Yorkies post was quoted. Not 74.

I think that there's definitely some digging for a reaction going on and it's needless.

People may not always get on on this board but many people go out of their way to give people support.

And arguments happen all over this site, let's get it into perspective.

OP - trust me & call it quits.
Some of them are getting the sniff of blood & there's no holding them back.......

    Post 74, in its entirety.
No one quoted, just this from me.

People really do see things wrote that aren't there.

That's what saddened me. If people dont have anything useful or supportive to add, why dont they move along?

Why say something unkind to someone who's already struggling?

    Thank you, I didn't quote Yorkie1.
    I didn't mention their name.
I said something in general, but yet I'm referencing them?
Yorkie1 is looking really hard to take offence & you're looking really hard for them....
If I had wanted to say something to them, I would be upfront & clear.
    I don't do sniddy.

Wasn't looking hard, just remembered that you'd said it that's all.

I already posted that I got the post number wrong. It was post 72 where Yorkies post was quoted. And given that it was I can see why they would think the comments made were being directed at them.

So, you ask for opinions on here - on a public forum.

You get answers which don't agree with the view you wanted validating.

So you personally abuse those who have taken the time to contribute to the thread you started.

    Nice.

Contribute? Do you mean have a snipe?

Maybe the OP doesn't have anyone in her real life she feels she can share this with?

Maybe on the families forum she thought she might get a friendly ear!!!!!!!!

This wasnt even directed at yorkie1, I wasnt saying yorkie1 was having a snipe. But when they (yorkie1) said about contributions on the thread from others I said some were snipes.
