Kind of in disbelief at how fast this last full week at work is going... how is it Thursday already?! No tired spells or pain when walking at all so far this week so really chuffed with that. Think the extra iron might have sorted the tired spells. That or I'm adapting well to less sleep.

Absolutely loving the weather. Can't get enough of it! Hoping to sit out in the garden with DH for a (G&)T after work and just chill. First evening this week with nothing planned! We also have a reasonably clear long weekend which is nice. Might print out lists for my labour and postnatal bags so DH can pack them quickly on d-day. Baby's is done but I'm reluctant to do mine yet as most is clothes and nightwear which I want to wear in the meantime!
Cleared my credit card debt of £7123.58 in a year using YNAB! Debt free date 04/12/2015.
Enjoying sending hundreds of pounds a month to savings rather than debt repayment!

    5.5 weeks pregnant here.

Exhausted, weeing all the time and constantly thirsty.

I already have a 12 year old boy but this is my first with my OH.

I seem to have gained a stone overnight too. I feel huge.

    Hi :)

I've got the same problem snow, have a list of clothes sitting on top of my bag at the moment ready to pack when we have to go.
I found my last week at work went so quick, and really busy too! Enjoy sitting out later!
Arbrighton good move with the maternity shorts!

Arbrighton, i hope you have a great weekend. We're planning to drive to Scotland providing I feel ok. Though OH will have me in the car if I feel even the slightest twinge to get us back over the border! :rotfl:

I had OH's shorts on last night... they weren't the worst fit!

Snow, we've just been to my favourite new shop (Aldi) and they had loads of summer coolers and cans of G&T. I said to OH that I could murder one of those right now... He said but you don't even drink G&T! Admittedly, it's not often, but I do enjoy one from time to time.

I am really struggling in the heat. Being grumpy and sitting inside in my underwear spraying myself with the water spray from my hospital bag. It's attractive. Thermometer in the nursery says it's 27.8c, and that's in a north facing room with the window open.

Contractions here seem to have fizzled out. Vanilla, hope something happens for you soon

No such joy here penguin, hope we both get some progression soon!

Fortunately only 24 degrees in my front room. Consoling myself with icecream

Hope everyone is OK and surviving the heat. Nearly bank holiday weekend! Halfords have got handheld fans for £1.50 if anyone needs one- I picked one up this morning and it can go in hospital bag too. Also if anyone has a 'the works' near them I bought this water spray https://www.theworks.co.uk/p/festival-essentials/water-cooling-mist-sprayer---assorted/5052089175396 a couple of weeks ago for £2 and it is very refreshing, really helped me stay cool last night and sleep. I got it in red to match my pram as I figured it'll be useful over summer too.

Not much happening here. I spoke to the midwife this morning and unfortunately the clinic was completely full today so she couldn't squeeze me in for another sweep. She did suggest that I ring the labour ward and said that if they're quiet they are normally happy to do one, but tbh I decided not to as I don't really want to go the hospital etc and I figure he'll come when he's ready. Sorry tmi- I had my show last night and I'm still having lots of twinges, so I feel like my body is definitely gearing up for something. Would love it to be this weekend as my twin and his fianc!e are up north from London and my twin wants to meet his nephew! But worst case is I've only got 6 more mornings of waking up and being disappointed I'm not in labour. And it's going to cool down a bit.

Did have a bit of a strange message from SIL yesterday seeing if we wanted to do something this weekend- I think they were thinking of a bbq or something. I felt a bit awkward replying saying I didn't think we could commit to anything as we're hopeful we'll be busy this weekend. Both her boys came early with no early labour signs so I suppose she just didn't realise that we probably don't want to plan much/ go very far/ have them round to our house.

Ah Penguin here's hoping the bumping of the list eggs some of them on. Fingers crossed for you this weekend, and hopefully baby shows before your twin goes home. The fact you've had your show is promising, as you've said means your body is gearing up for baby's arrival. Also I totally get where your coming from in regards to wanting to plan stuff for this weekend. You never know, baby may just be around the corner.

    Vanilla how are you?

Sweet I've been trying to find the G&T ice lollies in aldi but no such luck. Would be lovely to have one of them. I do miss a glass of cold wine in this heat. Not long now though.

Snow hope your last day has gone well.

Another one enjoying the heat, although this afternoon has seen me retreat indoors. A bit too hot for me in this condition :rotfl: Viewer didn't show today, which is so annoying. I'm glad I got my OH on board in terms of not going crazy trying to move everything. Bonus was the flat did get a good tidy, something I've been neglecting with all the nice weather. Driving out the road to see the OH's gran once he finishes. Not something I'm keen on doing but saves the peace plus she is lovely and I do enjoy seeing her. It's just the drive in the heat. Bag is back in the car just in case. Looking forward to the weekend and the football tomorrow. A big game between mine and the OH's team so itl be interesting :rotfl:

We have some cider in the fridge and it looks so good- would love some with loads of ice.

April- that's annoying your viewing was cancelled, but hope it feels better for the tidy up

    Snow- welcome to maternity leave!

Still getting twinges here, quite strong at times this morning. Had a bit of a cry last night as I was frustrated by the heat and SIL (OH's brother's wife) texted to say her sister's waters have broken- she's not due until 4th June, so they are hoping for 2 new nephews today/this weekend. Apparently she's been struggling through the night as labour has progressed, so fingers crossed she is ok.

Hoping no news from vanilla is good news!
