Just been having a massive catch up - congratulations Cats and cuidadosa!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing news and glad all good so far
I am 29 weeks this week and twins doing well so far. Estimated at about 3lb each - I know you have to take that with a pinch of salt but hoping that bodes well for next few weeks... can't believe the final trimester is here!!!:rotfl:0 -
Had my 31 week appt yesterday, bump was measuring a bit on the small side so they sent me for a growth scan. Was relieved to see baby measuring fine, just on average, guess I am just small.
Elles glad to hear your doing well.
Any news Clara? Fingers are crossed for you.0 -
27 weeks for me now, midwife later. Just watching my tummy jump about with bean doing big kicks. Will get my mum to check over my mat allowance form tomorrow before I post it off. Husband guessed I was 23 weeks this week after a guess of 29 weeks last week. Hmmmmmmmm.....
very very tired last night after a bit in the garden- just keeping plodding on with bits when i can as husband wouldn't know what was a weed and what wasn't! But hey, I slept better.
Cheated on dog walk today by taking a ball and the thrower so far less for me to do.0 -

Likewise - only my gardening was mostly at the weekend, but I really felt it last night and this morning! Weeding is a bit of a nightmare, but luckily it's mostly grass in the flowerbeds, and husband is definitely improving at identifying weeds....0 -

Husband may have to be given a crashcourse!
Although there are many other things that don't need such distinction that he can get on with too. We have a list of 'major' jobs as well as the day to day stuff. We don't seem to be doing particularly well with either just now0 -
No news April
midwife tomorrow for a sweep by the look of things! Fed up today.
I'm not one for gardening but luckily hubby enjoys pottering in it - when we get the weather!
We had a 'Before Baby' list and managed to gradually work our way through it - unfortunately a couple of problems have arisen again i.e. Leak from bathroom to living room and leak from new boiler! Boiler is fixed but leak from bathroom is on going - nightmare!0 -
yeah our roof leak is ongoing but trying to get hold of a roofer who'll turn up when they say they will and then actually fix it seems to be an impossibility0

Hope to hear some good news Clara. Most babies come at night so maybe tonight is the night!
Glad appts went well elles and April.
Back still playing up here, but not as bad. Pillows are helping. I took some time owing this afternoon and went to asda for some baby bits- got cellular blankets, bibs and muslin squares, plus an asda grown bag which gets good reviews. That won't get used at first, but picked it up anyway. Now I just need some cot bedding (and to pick up cot!) and some hospital bag bits. Definitely all getting there. We've got the tour of the maternity department this evening.0 -
Midwife ended up being a massive rush as she was running late even without having slotted me on at the end of the list and I was anxious about getting to work. YES I know I can 'take time off' for mat appts BUT I am self employed and I had left time IF my appt had been on time.
Had texted tutee who of course is the only teenager on the planet not surgically attached to their mobile and pretty much berated me when I got there.
Some comments about 27 weeks being an odd time for midwife. Yes I know. But I'd pushed it back a week so I didn't have tuesday and weds of the same week with growth scan. And forgotten I was on holiday. And tried to cancel but the message didn't get through so it got pushed back ANOTHER week.
So, we had a general chat, said yes good planning to breast feed, the class before is considered a big help and given bumpf to read. Blood pressure all good (well bar a bit of white coat stress). Then hopped up on the bench. Eventually concluded head kind of halfway down my right side, maybe. Heartbeat found eventually, bean kicked midwife. Bump measured- came up a bit big but i was BUSTING for a wee having waited so long.
Won't see her (well midwife, have seen as many midwives as i've had appointments) til 34 weeks now as it was deemed pointless to see her at 31 weeks with the growth scans at 28 and 32 weeks.0 -
Sounds stressful arbrighton! But glad bean and you are both OK. Hopefully you've managed to relax after work.
Tour of the maternity unit was good. Really hoping we can get a room with a pool in, which only 2/7 do at my unit, but both were free this evening so that's a good sign one will be available. Also discussed private rooms with OH this evening which I'd not considered. They like to keep you in overnight and he thinks I might be able to get more rest if I have one, so we've agreed to think about it at the time depending on how I feel and how busy the unit is. They are £75-100 per night. Anyone else thought about it?0
