    Hello ladies,

Feeling tired here. Trying to get a bit of housework done but keep having to take breaks. Its getting really annoying as after each job I feel like I need to sleep. This could partly be because I'm not sleeping easily at night as there are absolutely no positions that are comfortable for me.

I'm just sat here watching a One Born Every Minute re-run. One bloke in it is sat eating fish and chips!! I know DH will have to eat but whats wrong with a sandwich from the little shop in the hospital?? I think if he went over to the chippy I might get a bit irritated. This is perhaps me being jealous and all I'm suffering so you can too!! Seems only fair to me lol :p

I am exactly the same, I am not sleeping well at all. We have quite a big house (4 bed) and I am not liking it at the moment. It is so dusty and I struggle to hoover now.

    :(

lushlifesaver - glad you got something from work :)

glimmerofhope - do you want adding to the list?

Last time I was admitted to the antenatal ward there was a lady who had her husband bring KFC in to her.

My DH would definitely get me a KFC if I asked, although there isnt one near the hospital so perhaps not a great idea lol! Id be better off asking my Dad to get one on the way or something! As once you leave our hospital car park, you run the risk of never getting back in!

I watched OBEM this morning. Really hope my baby doesnt go back to back..

I seem to remember having a take away brought in when I had a stay in the antenatal ward with DS, the food was just awful!

You can encourage baby to lie with his/her back to your tummy by spending some time on all fours each day. I watch tv at night leaning over a beanbag or ball.

ETA - apparently back to back babies are very common in the west due to our love of slumping on sofas! :-/

I was an awkward baby and decided to turn over half way through making my debut! I think it's sunk in a bit more today now that I've finished at work that it isn't long until baby girl should be making her appearance...worked out today that she's already waited longer than my older brother (who was 21days early) and as long as she doesn't make an appearance tonight she'll have been more patient than me (17 days early...its 17 days from today until the due date) bf was a lot closer to his due date.

it's a nice feeling to have finished at work - a lot nicer than i was expecting but I'm already working on a to do list; mostly making sure i stay on top of the laundry (got two pairs of trainers, the doglet's towels/bedding and bf's kit from camp to get done atm) and getting the garden straight (not much work and can do a 5/10 mins each day and be happy)

Tomorrow is day one though and the plan is up when bf leaves for work, get a load of washing done, straighten the kitchen and straighten the freezer as we are off to Makro in the afternoon with my parents :) pretty chilled out day for me!

Yup and I'm bad for that.

She seems to switch from back to back to the correct way quite a bit at the mo, but mainly stays the right way. I sometimes sit on my ball, but just can't seem to get comfy on all fours or leaning forward because my SPD makes it painful to do just about anything that isn't slumping back! Or it just makes me really tired! I can't seem to lean on a ball either because of my bump - how exactly do you position yourself? Like where is your bump compared to the ball?

I kind of sit with my feet together (sit bum on them) and knees apart to the front/sides , with ball in the gap and lean forward.
ha, does that even make sense?!

Yeah I sometimes do this or lean on the ball so my boobs are resting on it with my arms folded and my head resting on them, although with SPD I would imagine both of these are hard work. My yoga teacher said any position you find comfortable where the knees are lower than the hips and you are leaning forward will give the baby more space to get into a good position.

I'm guessing luck has a lot to do with it though?

True. Spd must be very painful and annoying!
How about sit backwards on a dining room chair? You can then lean forward onto the back of the chair?
