Pink petal it's not standard - you get them if any complications or if any measurements seem off and for GD. Probably other reasons too! I won't have one unless something is picked up xOfficially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
I felt the same Pink, like we were missing out! We got sent for ours because baby was measuring 1 week big. You're not missing anything, baby was head down and we could barely make anything out anyway! Not as nice as the other regular scans.0

I'm having one for 2 reasons: 1St due to the loss of my daughter last year, my consultant is monitoring this baby more, 2nd because despite the gtt test coming back clear with my son and all bump measures being normal for the weeks, he was 9lb 7 when he was born and myself and my partner are quite petite so they're checking this baby isn't large too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Hello everyone
I can't quite believe I'm moving onto the big thread already! I'm 24 weeks today
I hope everyone is keeping well xxx0 -
Yey welcome Clara!! I'm about to turn 27 weeks now!! Seems like only 2 mins ago we got our BFPs.
Things starting to get harder now though so I'd appreciate the next 3 months going quickly too...Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

I know Cats, time has flown! I think you got your BFP on my conception date if I remember right! :rotfl:
Once Christmas is over, March will be here in no time! Are you getting uncomfortable? x0 -
Not uncomfortable as such...bump is still tiny (as people keep reminding me!!), however not sleeping brilliantly and just noticing a few things like sore lower back if I stand for too long, or rush of blood to the head if I bend over.
I keep being reminded it only gets worse though...!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

I feel your pain Cats! My bump is only small too but start getting a bit of a sore lower back too if I sit too long at work. I also keep getting reminded that it's only going to get worse! I am aware of this, I'm not moaning about anything, I'm simply replying to the "how are you keeping/feeling" questions. Starting to grate on me a bit, especially when it's all men I work with!0 -
Thanks all, I don't feel so bad about missing out now. Would love the chance for another wee peek at her but guess I should be thankful I have no reason to need one so far!
Welcome to the thread Clara! I found from 24 weeks onwards the time has just flown in. Can't believe I'm only 3 weeks away now!0 -
Hi all! welcome Clara!
Pink petal - I'm the same - its crazy how fast the weeks have gone! I'm now into week 2 of leaving work and I'm sure the lack of doing stuff has made the baby grow more and become more active as I'm sat watching tv more!
I seriously took for granted putting on socks and shoes before I got pregnant and now feel like an upside down tortoise when I get up in the morning
on a brighter note though I've been able to nap in the day to help make up for lack of sleep at night - last night was partly because I had 3 or 4 dreams of going into labour and woke up to baby kicking away as if it was a really funny joke!
hows everyone doing? seems as if its been quiet here for a few days!0
