Hope everything is going ok ThinkPink
I thought the worst of the heat was over with. Looks like we've got a least a couple more nights of it being hot! Also my heartburn has been kicking off so hope I can nap a bit after work to try and catch up on some sleep.
My yoga class as been cancelled because last time it was this hot 75% of people cancelled so they think it's best just to cancel it this weekthe teacher did say to stay at home put your feet up and rest so I'll shall be doing that and will leave dinner to DH. :rotfl:
Hope everyone else is doing well and not suffering too much in this heat.0 -
Hope everything is well ThinkPink!
I had my 25 week midwife appointment and was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. I was expecting it to be a quick 5 minute form filling exercise like the others have been, but it was lovely to hear the heartbeat (first time we've heard it at an appointment) and find out she's growing well so far. The midwife was really nice and chatty too which makes a big difference.0 -
Never again! Never ever again!!
No more builders ever! Especially during a pregnancy!!
Yet more work pulled up by building inspector - yet more delays. Was hoping for finish by to end of the week - that looks doubtful now.
Starting to have the awful feeling that builders may well be in the house when she goes into labour.
She is getting so stressed out with it now.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Freddie - that does not sound good. I really hope it gets sorted soon. We're converting our loft before our little lady arrives and I think we'll speak to the builder and try to schedule it in a good while before I'm due. ASAP actually!0 -
Sounds awful Freddie, not what you both needs at all. I really hope you get sorted ASAP.
You're really putting me off starting the work at our own house.0 -
Just a quick post to say our little boy was born on his due date which was Monday at 4am. We are both doing ok but ended up with an emergency c section and are still in hospital now. Hoping to go home tomorrow but will see if we are both well enough to be discharged. Will post back with more details in a day or two but just thought I would post a quick update whilst baby sleeps (well is lightly dozing) and I'm on a drip for iv antibiotics.x0
