ThinkPink I love the Fisher Price Rainforest mat and i'd love to get the mobile for that price. I might have to squeeze a trip to Asda in.
Pyschopathbabble I have a lovely maxi dress from ASOS so their website is worth a try. Ebay often has these types of fancy dress for sale as they are often worn only once and aren't cheap, so it's worth a look there and you can always resell it if it's not right.
My friend is looking for a travel system/pram that folds very small. I don't know what is out there as I'm reusing my Uppababy Vista so couldn't give her any advice. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also has anyone seen the lay flat car seats as I heard there are some now approved by the Lullaby Trust?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Sounds like you got some bargains think! I have the rainforest mat, mobile, bouncer and changing mat for madame as I wanted unisex.
Psycho, I got a maxi dress from eBay for my friends wedding, it was a brand called pistachio I think?
Kynthia, I've got an oyster 2. It's not the smallest folding but the main seat unit can be used from birth so saves having to use a separate carrycot which helps, and it's a bargain compared to icandy.
Still no news here, have midwife tomorrow and will be declining sweep. Will probably find out what the plan is for monitoring if I go past 42 weeks on Saturday.
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Thank goodness I have found the right place lol.
Think I am doing ok. I have come to the conclusion a long time ago that my new companion morning sickness will be with me until the end, although once I'm sick in the morning I am fine for the rest of the day. Its mine and hubby's first and bearing in mind that I have been broody for the past 2 years, I'm well excited. I am loving the fact that I now have a proper bump (as I am a slightly curvey lady to start off with, it just looked like I was a little fat when I was starting to show).
We have been very lucky that my sister has given us all her baby stuff now that she isn't having any more (my 2 beautiful nephews) and also a close family friend is giving us cot and other things so we have very little to buy. Although I do have a quick question, is it too early to start stocking up on nappies, wipes etc as I know Asda have a baby event on at the moment.House purchased November 2013

Welcome Rachel. With regards to nappies I personally haven't stocked up as I've read that some nappies don't suit certain babies (ie depending on their size, and also allergies) so was worried if I stock up on one particular brand they would be wasted if I find that because of baby's size they always leak. I've just got two packs from Morrison's and one pack from aldi for now. I'm hoping that my baby will suit aldi or asda as ive heard good things about them.0

Welcome Rachel! You are due 3 days after me. The sickness doesn't sound fun hope it starts to subside.
We haven't thought about nappies yet. We do have a couple of packs that my friend gave me as her baby has grown out of them. We'll have to get another size just in case!
I like having the bump too! Hoping it gets bigger so it's more obvious from the front rather than just from the side. Though I might regret that when I can't reach things any more.
I'm looking forward to yoga tonight, though the baby seems to think the best time to start kicking and moving is during the relaxation bit at the end. :rotfl:0 -
justme - mine usually wakes up during the deep breathing exercises and then does somersaults during the relaxation. I do aqua yoga so it's in a pool, so it's a weird sensation! Nice though.
It's weird having a bump and people noticing that you are definitely pregnant! I look down and don't think it's that big a bump, but from the side it's definitely quite big!
I was going to stock up on nappies too but DH refused for the same reasons above.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
