Well done on getting your furniture sorted Freddie.
We have a ewan and a mobile but she will be in the snuzpod for a while so will use ewan first and leave the mobile until she goes in to a cot.
40+8, had what I thought were some promising signs last night but nothing happening as yet.
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Glad you got all the furniture sorted Freddie.
Does your due date match the date you'd thought yourself jtr? I know the date I worked out using my cycles was a few days later than my due date taken from my 12 week scan.
I'm wishing I wasn't sooooo slow at doing everything now. It seems to take me twice as long as normal. I was hoping to do some redecorating once my leave started but I think it'd take me a week to open a can on paint :rotfl:0 -
Fingers crossed jtr that they were some early signs and things will start moving along soon.
I'm still not sure, maybe I'll just get a mobile too, it will at least make the cot look more interesting!!
Made oh get the car seat and base out the boxes earlier, we didn't actually try it in the car but it looks pretty simple, but at least we know how it all works now. Baby's bag is all packed and mine is just waiting for a few bits like towels so if anything starts now we can just grab the last few bits!!0 -
Thanks ladies, I do honestly have my impatient moments but overall I'm doing OK.
I was actively tracking beckyy and my due date has always matched up almost exactly to my scans, I think it's maybe a day out? My dd was induced and not born until 40+16 so I think I'm just a longer than average cooker!
Just found out from my yoga teacher that the other lady due the week before me had her little girl Wednesday so I am now the last one typically. Not sure if she's being stubborn like me or lazy like her dad :rotfl:

I'm not quite convinced by my due date. I have pcos so have longer cycles, but my current due date is only 4 days later than an average 28 day, so I think my date should be more like 16th September.0

Beckyy- I know that feeling, everything seems to feel like it uses up 10 times more energy than usual and feels like such a chore!!
I've just ordered a perfect prep as I saw a code on netmums that meant it was £48 in red which is a really good price. I'm going to try and feed him the colostrum and see how I get on with feeding him but I feel happier knowing I'm prepared if it doesn't work out.0 -
Last time I knew the day I ovulated so I knew my due date should have been 4 days later. However my daughter arrived 13 days before her medical due date so clearly it made no difference.
This time I'm slightly less positive of the exact ovulation date but was tracking and do have a good idea. Yet again my official due date is 5 days earlier than what I make it to be. I'm less concerned this time and actually think that perhaps not all fertilised or soon to be fertilised eggs travel down the fallopian tupe, implant and begin early division at the exact same rate. It's not something that can easily be studied and compared and could explain why some women need to wait longer for a positive pregnancy test result than others.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
His movements are so strong now. I had my hand on bump and I felt a limb stick out and then pulled my hand across to the other side.
I heard his heartbeat yesterday, just by ear to bump! Wasn't expecting to hear anything but heard a very clear baby speed heartbeat.
I got all the furniture together. Before then spending an age rearranging it all before we found a layout that we both liked!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Just back from asda. Picked up a Fisher price play mat, reduced from £30 to £15, a Fisher price mobile reduced from £26 to £13 and a large mirror for the car (already have a small one that can go in oh car) that was reduced to £9. I had seen the mat online and was disappointed to see it was out of stock, but they had loads in stock in store.
Was indecisive about the mobile but for that price decided to get one.0 -
Ladies, can any of you recommend any (not too expensive) brands for wedding guest outfits? We are going to a wedding 2 weeks before i'm due (yes, I think I am insane!) and while I can't hide my bump, I would like to not feel totally frumpy and fat. I fear it's going to either cost a lot or be an impossible task!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16
