The room thermometer is pretty good Flutter, I've to use it here, mainly cos it's so hot I need to keep the room cooler.
Hope baby arrives soon for you Flutter!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

MW has been but she couldn't do a sweep as my cervix was closed
. Gutted. Have cried for half hour! They will try again on Tuesday. She did say it was soft tho.

Hugs flutter. I understand your frustration. The fact it's soft is a good sign though that things are moving in the right direction xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0

Hope things go better on Tuesday Flutter.
Got my scan early tomorrow morning. 36 weeks. Checking if the placenta Previa has cleared. If not looks like I'll be having a section and meeting my little girl early. Not quite sure how early, but I think more beginning/middle of the month than end. I don't know what I'm hoping for really! Didn't want a section at all, but the nearer I get and more uncomfortable she gets, the more I think it might be a better option. Which now, knowing my luck means it'll have cleared and I'll have to wait.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -

Did you cover sweeps in your hypnobirthing? Honestly, it can change within a day so means nothing about when baby will come and even if she could have done the sweep they really only do anything in somewhere around 15% of cases. I really don't like the false sense of hope they can give. On the positive side, if she had done it, you may have just ended up in pain with no progression hun
Try and stay positive, get some oxytocin flowing with your other half, I truly do believe baby will come when baby is ready! every day you are a step closer to meeting baby, hugs x
This is also the problem with a 'due date', we kinda count down to this date and as soon as it's gone, we start feeling disappointed. Can you arrange a nice treat for yourself as something to break up the time?

Thanks girls.
No didn't cover sweeps in hypnobirthing jtr, I know they don't always work, I'm just disappointed that cervix is shut. But that can change.
OH has annoyed me today so I'm probably best on my own for now! :P May go for a walk by myself.
I'll perk up soon enough. One way or another baby will be here when it's ready x* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Good luck with the scan crazy - I had a section and honestly, it wasn't half as bad as people had lead me to believe. Yes you will be sore but I was lucky, Hubby stayed with me the whole time in hospital and could help latch baby on for breastfeeding which is going well.
