Welcome Clare and mips!!!
Ooh Chelsea just the mention of cheeseburgers gets me dribbling.....one of my faves too atm
Smlsave congrats!!! What a beautiful name!
Eiteews you poor thingI'm sure it'll all be worth it when you're moved and settled but I can totally understand how overwhelming it all is for the normal person, let alone a pregnant one
we are due to move to our new house in the next few weeks (haven't got a completion date yet) and I'm feeling very overwhelmed too. I had a bit of a breakdown earlier worrying about how much stuff we still have to do, whether we will be able to afford the new place etc etc. All totally irrational worries but I've always been a worrier at the best of times let alone at the moment.
I hope your OH gave you a big hug and took over the packing when he got homeit's so frustrating though isn't it, usually I'm organised to the nth degree too, and I hate having these unmotivated periods, which I'm also going through at the moment
I had a little cry to OH this evening and he's told me to stop worrying about everything immediately, and to write him a list of everything I'm worrying about and everything that I think still needs doing before the move and before the baby comes, and he will work through it instead of me and take all the burden off of me
Omg the underground smell that is a very weird craving!!! I haven't craved any smells yet!! Lol!
I used to be a smoker myself (quit in October 2012) and used to love the smell of smoke even after I quit. Now I'm pregnant it literally makes me heave!! I can't even have smokers in my car if they've had a fag in the previous few hours because it makes me throw up!
Emz aww how frustratinghope baby starts to make an appearance over the next few days!!
Moonbabe have you had anything more sugary than usual today? I find she moves around if I eat a bit more sugary stuff than usual. My diet today has been terrible and she's been moving around loads on a sugar rush I think.....oops
Robots I wouldn't worry, I think some babies are just more active than others, also mine has only really started moving around properly from about 23 weeks ish so I wouldn't worry too much about not feeling much yetOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

I felt almost nothing until 24 weeks, since then it's been constant!!! I'm 40+6 now, so don't worry too much. If you are worried, contact your midwife. I had to go in for monitoring yesterday and there were 4 other ladies on the ward for monitoring due to reduced movement. They would soooo much rather you went in than didn't. xXxFirst date 10.2.2002

- she's not as well known as others in the family so I'll hold my hand up & admit I'm a historian, fan of P.Gregorys books and have been looking at their family tree myself for name inspiration!
have edited my post above to include disclaimer! I wasn't assuming that's why Smlsave named her baby, it's a nice coincidence)
But she wasn't ever Catherine Rivers - she married Buckingham before her father got his Earldom, so she went from being Catherine Woodville / Wydville to be Duchess of Buckingham, surely?
I'm not certain how titles worked at the time, but I think had she been unmarried when her father became an Earl she'd still have been Woodville, rather than Rivers - which was a title, rather than a surname. Her father became Richard Woodville, Earl Rivers, without taking it as a surname precisely....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Had a very real dream last night that I had the baby at 5.10pm on a Saturday evening! Roll on this sat to find out!!!0

Only just had a time to look back and post as been so busy recently.
Congratulation smlsave! A lovely name and glad you are both doing well x0 -
Good morning ladies,
Emz I will keep my fingers crossed that your LO makes an appearance soon.
Think the third trimester tiredness is really starting to hit me. Last night I was in my bed for 8.30pm and slept till 8am (with the usual million loo trips of course) I just couldn't stay awake for any longer. I have to admit though that it was lovely having the bed all to myself before DH came to bed (he came to bed at midnight)...bliss!!!!

Haven't eaten anything different to usual, think maybe baby was just having a mad day! Back to normal movements today which is welcome as it wiped me out yesterday and I was asleep by 9pm!
If anyone is worried about reduced movements do ask to be checked, I went in at 9.30pm the other evening and they were lovely.Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
Mips - would you like to be added to the list at all? I will need your due date and team if so - after an eventful time I hope you have a quiet one now!
Thinking of you Emz118.
RobotsinDisguse - I had little movement up until a few weeks ago - I only really noticed it when I was led down but now its an all night party and sometime all day too - not sure when she sleeps! If you are worried of course call your local unit - it will put your mind at ease. Sometimes they are moving so much and you simply can't feel it.
VickyVics - I know exactly what you mean - I am tired a lot now and I get bump ache. Doesn't help I am at uni as well as work and I have 3 more essays to start and finish prior to the 12th May 2014. I have done two, third is half way though. I need them done by mid April really.....

Happily Married since 20160 -
Morning everyone!
Today is my last day of being signed off from work, I have to go back tomorrow. I am feeling up to it and it will be good to get back into the outside world and have work to focus on rather than everything with house and baby all the time, but at the same time I'm dreading it a bit! I hate where I work and I had already switched off and lost all motivation even before I went off sick (3 weeks ago now!) so heaven knows how I'll be tomorrow when I'm back! I'm just looking forward to retrieving my little postit from under my keyboard and recalculating how many working days I've now got left lol.
OH has been doing a really cute thing the last few days, he wakes up before me in the mornings (about 6:30) and he's been rolling over and cuddling up to me and putting his hand on my bump, apparently every morning it's like she's having a little party in my belly and I'm fast asleep, unknowing, and he has a little special half an hour with just him and the babyI welled up when he first told me, it was so cute how excited he was about their special moment together in the mornings, and now he tells me everything she did every morning whilst I drive him to the station:)
I can't wait until she's born now, I think he's going to be such a brilliant dad. It'll be me who is the clueless one!!!
Hope everyone else is good!! Emz I hope you don't have to wait too much longer now xxxOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Congratulations SmlSave, I love the name! Is there any particular significance behind River for you? I did suggest it to DH as a middle name for our little girl (huge Doctor Who fans in this house!) but he wasn't as keen as I was on it.
Emz, hope things get moving for you soon.Team Pink! Baby girl due 25/5/140
