I guess at nearly 25 weeks I belong on this big girls thread now!
Only at number 41 on the list but it seems like we are on a very fast countdown until baby makes an appearance!
Hope those that are over/near their due dates get to meet their little ones soon!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
^^^I was wondering this too!
Also, what is this raspberry leaf tea/capsules for and where is cheap to get it from?
I got mine from holland and Barrett. They allegedly help to condition and tone the uterus, let me see if I can find the link....

Raspberry leaf tea is pretty cheap on amazon, i started drinking from 32 weeks last time. Not sure if it did anything as i was 2 weeks over and in labour for over 40 hours but it's worth a shot - will be drinking it again!0

I'm impressed that you managed to get pg while under the same roof as your in laws!! :rotfl:
:rotfl: and we weren't even trying! Because of my endometriosis, we were told in July we might never be able to have babies, so we weren't trying but we weren't not trying if you see what I mean, which I think what did it
If we had actively been trying I don't think it would have happened as we would have been stressed out and uptight about having to try whilst living with his parents, so that's why we adopted quite a relaxed attitude, we didn't really even have a conversation about it to be honest, we just started doing the deed without using any protection, but we never actually had a conversation where we decided to start TTC, which as I say I think really helped as we were very relaxed about it.
Also, OHs parents go out a LOT......:DOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Hello all, hope you're all well
Enjoying the long lie I had today and not setting an alarm! Should be doing housework but seeing as I had plans my first two leave days I have decided to vegitate today, til I need to go get OH from work.
Picking up a rocking chair and footstool tonight, been thinking of getting one for a while but with them being over £100 I wasn't sure as don't know if we would get use of it.. saw one on a local facebook buying page for £40 so thought I would snap it up, it looks comfy and for £40 even if we don't use it loads then it will be a nice decoration in the nursery!0 -
Ststarina I had a growth scan at the same duration as you and my baby also was estimated that size!0

my bump is really achy today, it feels like stretching pains all round the bottom of it. I found it hard to constantly get up and down off the floor today at work, gosh knows what I'll be like when I'm huge! I feel iv been lucky though as today is the first time anything has really ached
had a bit of an emotional moment when I posted last night graduating threads as when I had my early mc in July I would sometimes lurk on the 'bigger' threads like these and wish my name would be on the list ready to give birth. and now here I am, 24 weeks
hope everyone's well today! x0 -
Aw firey I can understand why you would be emotional
My belly has been like that for a good few weeks now, I think around the 24 week mark must be when the baby starts to seriously put on weight as mine started around 24 weeks I think, and I'm 29 weeks now. I get very sore underneath the bump especially in bed when I wake up in the mornings. Baby is getting fat
I don't often have pregnant lady moments but I just had one. I had a craving for donor meat and chips (yes, extremely nutritious) so bad that I actually got in the car and drove to the kebab shop (10 doors down....) to buy some to eat!!
Feeling much better now, though slightly sick and very guilty for subjecting the baby to donor/pigeon meat and about a litre of burger sauce......
Ooh well time for some more bread and butter pudding methinks......heheOur first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

I'm having a super emotional day today, have burst into tears 4 times so far and am currently sat surrounded in packing materials with zero motivation. Still got half a flat to pack before Friday but can't do much till OH comes home.
Think the reality of moving at 36 weeks pregnant has hit home - normally I'd be racing around with everything planned to minute detail.
I've got the worst sweet tooth at the moment... I can't seem to get enough sugar which is totally unlike me.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
