I drank raspberry leaf tea last time, and don't know if it did any good at all, but I really liked it. So that was one result, anyway!

I've not made it into the list - I'm due on 14th May, with my second boy. My first is now 8, and OH is currently bathing him and shovelling him into bed downstairs, while I sit upstairs and do absolutely nothing, really!

Congratulations Smlsave! That's such a lovely name! :)

    - Katherine Rivers is a favourite historical person of mine :) Well, actually all the ladies of the Woodville family / family of Lord Rivers are pretty awesome, such strong women in such difficult times, the mothers of generations of kings :)

    Edit to add,
of course it might just be a nice coincidence! There's any number of reasons for putting two names together, or none! I should know, my forename & surname together is a very well known Victorian literary character, but my mum & dad didn't remember that when they named me!

Which Katherine Rivers do you have in mind? Elizabeth Woodville's mother was Jacquetta, wasn't she?

Yup Jacquetta of Luxembourg was mother to Elizabeth and Katherine/Catherine, and about 9 other children!
Katherine married the Duke of Buckingham, and after his death Jasper Tudor.
    - she's not as well known as others in the family so I'll hold my hand up & admit I'm a historian, fan of P.Gregorys books and have been looking at their family tree myself for name inspiration! :)

have edited my post above to include disclaimer! I wasn't assuming that's why Smlsave named her baby, it's a nice coincidence)

Eurgh just spent a horrible hour and a half at the vets. We were booked in for our kitties annual booster but when we arrived we were told there was a really long wait as they'd just taken in an emergency caesarean! (At least I'd be in good hands if I went into labour!)

When we finally got in our cat was fine right until the very end when shed obviously had enough and swiped me just as she was going back in her carrier! It's quite a bad scratch on my hand and was really bleeding and it stings so badly! Im annoyed because I have really thin skin that scars really easily and I already have loads of other scars and scratches on my hand (from all sorts of things) and I reckon this is bad enough to leave a mark right on the top of my hand. I love my little cat but sometimes she's a swine!

Congrats smlsave - knew there'd be news!!! Lovely name too! Sorry your still waiting Emz, won't be long x

    Congrats smlsave - beautiful name!

The only thing I have been craving is a chinese takeaway - which is something I never eat!

May be a little of an odd question but my bump has always been fairly active, but today it has been off the scale. It has spent more time moving than being still, is this normal?!

  • Moonbabe, I'm due on 30 June, 10 days after you and I'm worrying still about not feeling much movement :(
