    Turn Eurobaby. Tuuuurrrnnn!

Was the midwife today. All good. Head down and engaged (1/5 so he's right in there and my hips can deffo tell). I tried my hardest to complain. I really did. I have such problems with authority. She basically said the chances of me going early are slim and just grin and bare it til the scan. I don't bloody want to!

bamama.. just pretend you are me for 5 minutes.. Queen of Strop!! They have not one single idea when it is all going to happen.. my friend was told 'it'll be ages' (34 weeks with twins!).. she walked out of the hospital to the car and her waters broke as she set off driving!

I'm so incredibly tired today.. and my poor feet are enormous! .. OH is seriously impressed by their size... if one more person asks how long I have left I may murder them lol.. I just answer 'about 1,000 years' now lol

I have added the sheet and blankets to the basket.. I really should finish sorting the hospital bags though.. I want to throw them in the car when OH gets back from the wedding on Monday.. I'm so glad I said I wasnt going..

  • euro- you certainly have a little madam on your hands, fingers crossed she will turn for you soon, have you been using the yoga ball? I have been on mine like crazy trying to keep him head down... ridiculous the things we do. I haven't been weighed for aaaaages, but I have put on about 3 stone in total!!!! I'm hoping the majority is fluid!

Picked up the pram and car seat yesterday and had a huge melt down, we ordered them (from babies r us) back in January and was told by the woman who checked over our car that the car seat would be fine and we could just get an isofix base, well luckily we never ordered the base itself as when hubby went out to the car last night he realised that our car doesn't have the iso fix points in it, so she clearly hadn't checked properly. We can still use the seat just with the belt now and no base.

Then husband went to the gym and I decided to assemble the pram on my own, only to realise that the apron they gave us didn't fit, I had to phone them last night and was told that none of the stores had the lime green colour (that I had my heart set on) in stock and that the one we were given was old stock so wouldn't fit the newer model. Anyway after a lot of tears, tantrums, swearing and no sleep I have received a call today and they have managed to get one from Silvercross so it should come this weekend (I hope). I know I was being completely irrational but one thing I cannot tolerate is incompetence.. I get things like this can happen but we had ordered it back in January.

Anyways rant over...... 37 weeks tomorrow- full term :j:j:j

glad you got there in the end skint I hate frustrating jobs that create additional stress and work!

Indeed turn Eurobaby turn!! Good luck for Friday!

I'm after a crib mattress, are the airflow type better than just the foam?

Woke up with the most painful cramp in my leg, even now it's still a bit sore, hope I don't get it too often!

Phoned around today to see where stocked the pushchair, was expecting a bit of a journey, but luckily a local shop had it so we will be going to look at that this weekend, I hope I like it in real life and I hope it's just right, if not I may go mad!!!!

    Hi all!

Feeling pretty big now -31 weeks...

Got a ring sling today off a friend who is moving away - it's beautiful and I hope that baby girl enjoys being in it. If not I can sell it on as lots of people round here use them. Also got myself a rocker for the nursery downstairs for feeding during the day etc.. Somewhere nice and peaceful to sit

Well I have oral thrush now.. it is REALLY sore, no wonder babies go off feeding when they have it! I feel like I've used acid as mouth wash! Let's hope I can get something OTC for it otherwise I will order online because I 'have to ring tomorrow (thursday) to see if they have any appointments then because we have nothing until then' ... yeah, thanks for that, another week I would look like Olaf it's spreading so fast!! .. probably a combination of anaemia, pregnancy and dry mouth.. oh the joy!

Sling sounds great Tata! :) Hopefully you're little one will enjoy being in it :)

Oooh oral thrust is horrid pigpen. I've had it once before. I remember having some gel for it, which was orange flavoured (well...orangeish). Can't remember if that was OTC or from the GP though. If not, are there are any natural remedies you can try?

I hope you get it sorted asap!

argh... !!!!!!.... I am going to strangle OH today.

I have repeatedly said I need to go to chemist and will post parcel and need to go to wool shop and now added a bank run .. and if he says one more time he will go for me I may punch him... I know he means well but he has said it about 4000 times and every time I said 'no you cant' ... how the hell is he going to take my rotting gob with him???

    *RRAAAAAAAAAGGGEEEEE*

I might make him come with me.. but I need to go! .. and I'm not going in the rain, I hate wet feet and my dress gets wet at the bottom too and I can't cope with it slopping cold and soggy on my feet..

I am being utterly unreasonable I'm sure.. but he won't be told!
