Oh yes. Metanium is amazing. The yellow one. I bought 1 tube and it lasted Dewi 2.5yrs. You only need a tiny bit and it'll clear anything. My friend used it on a veet cream/vagina incident and it healed right up
ooh if it heals up your vagina i might use it lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Ooohhh, does that start tonight?! I really want to watch it. I told DH it was starting soon and his response was 'you can watch that in the bedroom then' hahahaha. He did watch a few episodes with me previously, and I think that was enough for him haha.
When are we supposed to put a birth plan together? I know what I want to do, but am well aware that it can all change at a moment's notice, so am quite relaxed about it (at least I am trying to be! lol).
Got given an easter egg at work, by one of the directors. That was about half an hour ago. There's only half an egg left now........February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Why is there half left?!
I'm thinking about trying it myself too pigpen. Though it was 3rd degrees last time and I couldn't even touch down there for at least a week.0 -
That final half didn't last long! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0

I've bought stuff to make easter nests for work on my last day. Morrisons are doing a big bag of mini eggs for £4 so it's currently in my boot, although I predict these easter nests will just end up as cornflake cakes! :rotfl:
MIL is on overload today. We found out SIL is pregnant, and we're over the moon about it (she's been trying for years, plus it means some of the attention comes off me!), so MIL has been messaging me saying things like "I keep checking my phone in case you go to hospital" and "hopefully they come out soon" - I don't! The longer they're in there, the better! Oh, and she's bragging that it's her daughter that is making me an auntie for the first time instead of my newlywed sister! I don't care! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Another day, still no baby
argh! I was quite chilled out last week, but getting a bit fed up now. Really don't want to be induced, or have to do the whole expectant management thing if we decline induction. Would just like this baby to arrive under their own steam
SOON!
Lulu, glad some of the pressure/attention will be off you with SIL being pg too. Hopefully MIL will be less of a pain with something else to distract her
Re: birth plans, I agree it's not good to have too fixed an idea as you can't control everything, but I do think it's a good idea to have a think about what you might want under different scenarios, as you may be asked for consent for things at a time when you can't really make a proper decision. I actually have 4 plans - home birth, hospital birth, caesarean and induction, and I've discussed thoroughly with DH so he knows what my wishes are. That's not to say I'm fixed on any details, obviously you need to be flexible, especially if things don't go smoothly. I have no regrets about accepting a c sec last time, DD was distressed and it was the right choice on the day. I do regret allowing them to break my waters because "its the next step of the induction process". I was already contracting and dilating, so didn't need that doing to bring on contractions, and I think the lack of the cushion of waters contributed to her being distressed (and mw at my birth debrief agreed and said this is a known risk of AROM). First time round though, I didn't question them on why they wanted to break waters, what the benefit and risks were etc. and sadly the medics aren't always forthcoming with a full picture if they're following their process.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Yeah hopefully she'll back off, but she's got full blown baby rabies at the moment and it's driving me mad! Her messaging me yesterday really irritated me so I hope she now leaves me be and bothers her own daughter instead..
I need to write my birth plan but it's so uncertain what's going to happen. Shall I just put my basic wants in there, for example pain relief? Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Had my Anti-D injection this morning in my bum. She was making out it was going to be a horrible experience but hardly felt a thing and was over in seconds. Not back to the midwife now until 13th April when I am 32 weeks.0

Nice break for you toots.
Lulu, I didn't really go in with one last time. She asked a few preferences like who was allowed in, if I wanted the vit K, the injection for the placenta, who was to cut the cord. That went out the window as he wasn't breathing when he came out.
This time I'm telling them I don't want pain relief other than g&a. I had pethedine (sp?) last time as I was alone and in pain. It was no help and made me poo green for a few days. I don't want the cord cut until it's stopped pulsing. I want to touch his head as he's coming out (really regret saying no when I was asked last time). And I need them to know that I'm not particularly vocal when I'm in pain, I struggle a lot with basic questions, I get into a zone then if it's too much I turn into a panicky blubbering mess and need much reassurance, which the OH is useless at. Lol!0
