Do you get fed of hearing yourself complaining about how crappy you feel etc?? I dropped my daughter at the school office today so I didnt have to walk around the building to her class.. she would have been late if I had done that.. I must look pretty rough because the staff asked if I needed to sit down for a rest.. no! I'd not get up again.. lol.

Everything hurts, I've coughed myself a hernia, The baby is bouncing about like Zebedee and this cold is driving me insane! I am so tired! my 5 y/o is full of cold too and was in bed by 5:30 last night!

So yeah.. I'm sick of hearing myself moan! lol.

  • Aww skint glad you are all OK beyond being shook up. The "what ifs" are horrible, try to focus on the "thank goodnesses" :)

LittleMoog - OMG over 8lb each! My uncles weighed 14lb combined and I thought that was heavy! The were born naturally lulu at about 38 weeks so just tell everyone these stories lulu!

I can't watch OBEM, I was happy to be ignorant last time. Tried to watch OBEM a week after my daughter was born but the woman ended up in a c-section due to reduced heart rate (same as my DD) so I ended up nearly having a panic attack thinking of the "what ifs" turned it off and vowed never to watch again. Think thats why I am more scared this time as I know far more than last time and it didn't go "right" last time. Looking up what can go wrong with an ELCS wasn't a good idea either. I just want someone to decide for me!!

I'm definitely fed up of hearing myself moan, whether it be aches and pains, malabsorption, water retention, weeing constantly or just being knackered I'm boring even myself.

I'm like a stuck record too! I was so calm until Monday, but now I feel desperate for baby to arrive to avoid all the intervention we had with DD. Booked in for a sweep on Saturday at +12, with probably induction and no home birth on Monday. I know rationally there's still time and labour could start any time, but I feel like I'm doomed to repeat the same circumstances as before as I don't have a single twinge or sign of anything happening.

Fingers crossed things get moving soon for you LittleMoog!

I mostly whinge about backache. I have some very sweet colleagues offering helpful suggestions etc, but there's not much I can do about it. It's just a pregnancy ache that develops in the afternoon. I've done everything else I can to alleviate it, and keep it to a minimum, so I just have to put up with it.

Have you got a support belt Euro? I had one from mother care last time round which helped with the weight of my bump. Not needed it this time as mu previous back problem is pretty much healed.

Definitely fed up with hearing myself moan!

My hands and feet are so swollen I have opted for fluffy socks instead of shoes at work so I don't have Kardashian-esque cankles for when I go out later!

    Fx for you Moog x

  • Do you have to have an induction LittleMoog? A friend of mine didn't and I remember last time on here someone didn't want to be induced, finally gave birth at like 43+something I think

My brother was a 43 weeker (9lb 3 so not overly huge) after my stepmother refused induction.. so long as baby is happy there is no reason to subject yourself to it. I had a friend with lots of children (thats really weird wrtin that because I just realised I have the same number now lol) .. anyway.. ALL of hers were born between 42 and 45 weeks.. they were cooked when they were cooked.. none had any issues and none was overly huge either.

Given the fact induction increases the risk of complications, need for interventions includng a section, is intensely painful compared to natural progression I would absolutely refuse unless it was utterly necessary. But I guess seeing as I refuse everything that isn't too shocking ;) If the baby isnt ready induction won't work anyway leading to further interventions.

They base your due date on the size of the baby at about 12 weeks.. my due date has been moved massively this time so my due date is actually 38+1 .. there is no way on earth the due date they said is possible.. to conceive on CD5 is not possible not only was I still bleeding profusely we didn't dtd until CD18.. it is simply not possible.. so I am pretty much ignoring the scan date and going by af.

I bought my first new pram since I was pg with my 17 year old (aside from my freebie tandem I was sent to review).. Having 5 new prams over 12 children isnt bad really is it?? Some people have more than that just for one! I found it reduced.. then used easter codes to order the accessories using my ebeast sales so it wasn't 'real' money

I am now aiming for £50 of sales a week to pay everything back to myself!

Well done on finding a good deal on the pram! What have you gone for in the end?

I always find it weird when you see people on Facebook selling pages wanting a new pram because they're bored of theirs! The only thing I can see myself doing is buying a new colour pack as I've gone for grey but I really wanted red!
