If OH touches me I may slap him.. everythng in the world is his fault today.. I actually went back to bed once he got up because it hurts less laid flat than it does sitting.. probably easier to remove itself..

I can't do peppermint it makes things worse and adds in an upset tummy.. they gave me it a couple of times in hospital and I very nearly didnt get to the toilet in time :eek: I had a couple of swigs of the peppermint gaviscon which seems to have helped a little but too much of that has be running to loo too.

It has eased a little bit .. but I'm starved now and not sure what to eat that wont aggravate it.. anything bread/toast is out, ooh I think I have some more BBE 03/14 tomato soup left.. that should be ok.. I'll slurp my cuppa first.


I cant decide if it is pork related, minty potato related or the 3 satsumas I scoffed yesterday.. I *think* it is the meat. Experiment time!

I'm finally feeling a bit better.. the painful cramping has stopped at least which is the main problem.. I now have a baby doing star jumps in there I'm sure! It is running out of room to be transverse by the feel of it! .. and it has hiccups!!

I had grand plans of packing and ebeasting and stuff today and as a result have got nothing done! I need to start this packing, we are supposed to be going next Saturday and I have stuff planned for 3 days.. I can't pack in 4 days at the best of times! I can see us delaying our departure until Sunday

Littlemoog can't belive your still waiting on your little one, don't know how you can be managing! I was ready for bursting by the 14th. Hope you go naturally or at least get the birth you are hoping for. I don't think I'd be happy going over 42 weeks either.

I've started breastfeeding, it's quite a bit of work, determined to keep at it but still wondering how I'll ever get to go anywhere - a not very discreet yet, i've ordered a cover online to protect my modesty. I've had to do top ups with expressed milk to get her weight up.

I'm full of cold. Managed to avoid bugs for so long, but one's got me now!

Boot sale was a bit pants...and exhausting.

Midwife appointment was cool. Baby is breech. Little monkey. She needs to turn. BP went up again, then came back down, now a bit raised at home. Think it's the cold. It only started last night, but I suppose my body was already fighting it earlier in the day.

Ok, back to sleep for me.

Glad feeding is going OK Sweetilemon, keep on with it, it gets so much easier after a few weeks once you and baby both get the hang of it I was always expecting to be late, but was hoping to go a bit earlier this time around.

Sweep today was a no go, baby's head not low enough for a proper sweep but she stretched my cervix a bit and said it was softening and 1-2 dilated, but I think that's probably normal for 2nd time around. Back on Monday if nothing happens before and we've agreed to have another sweep and wait a couple more days before induction. MW today was very positive about it, but said we'd need to discuss risks with a registrar on Monday. Few more tightenings today, and I seem to be losing my plug slowly so hope its not too far away.

Glad your trapped wind has eased pigpen, sounds horrible

Well I am in agony with my back from the crash, so fed up the pain is making me feel sick, the dr will only give me paracetamol which since being pregnant I can't keep down. I am going to call the midwife on Tuesday and see if there is anything else I can take or if I can have physio on it. I had problems with my back about 6 years ago due to an assault and I only said to Hubby the other week that my back wasn't causing any issues at all (midwife expected it to)....I clearly spoke too soon :mad:

So, I am now off work again, so bored!!

No news here I'm afraid! Going for another sweep at lunchtime and to arrange induction for later in the week if no joy.

Sorry about your back skint - the doc is being rubbish, there are quite a few pain meds you can take in pregnancy. My back went when I was pg with DD and I was prescribed codeine.

Congratulations lulu!! Littlemoog hope all goes well and you get to meet your little one soon, worth the wait.
