Edward Malcolm John born this morning at 0937 weighing 7lb13oz. Born by relaxed emcs after labour failed to progress past 3cm after a long night and baby getting distressed with each contraction. Turned out he was back to back with cord tightly around neck, so he could descend and it was getting compressed, so we made the right choice.we got the screen lowered for delivery and skin to skin in theatre.
He's so scrummy, we're over the moon
DD is coming in later to meet him but we'll be in a couple of days at least as they're monitoring me for a potential infection.
Congratulations LittleMoog, certainly made the right choice. I hope you get out soon x
Spent the morning having a tidy up, under stair cupboard sorted, washing done and tortoise bathed & cleaned out!
Also taken son out for bike ride this afternoon (well I walked while he rode his bike). Think I deserve a rest now0 -

I will be pestering you about the delivery soon I'm sure, I think ELCS is what I may opt for but like the sound of screen down and skin to skin!
