Congratulations little Moog, love the name. Enjoy lots of cuddles
  • Congratulations, Moog! Love the name! Enjoy every kiss and cuddle you can get :)

Im 26+5 today, Im feeling lots of movement but they feel like really quick little "flicks"? I don't really know how else to describe them. I haven't been pregnant for 8 years but all I do remember from then is more of a rolling sensation. I can't describe this, I think he's lying flat across my tummy as I feel the sensations both on the right and the left at the same time which I assume is hands and feet at the same time but I just dont remember it feeling like this? It's not a definite "thud" of a punch or a kick, it's little blip feelings. Im not making sense but its made me feel calmer even just typing it out....!

I think it's safe to say that the worst of the cold is over. I am back at work today. Still sound horrid, and I'm tired, but I'm so much better than I was.

Pigpen, I hope you're feeling better soon. I have a new found love and respect for decongestant. Oh, how I have underappreciated it in the past!

Had my Whooping Cough vaccine this morning, which was fine. No pain or anything on arm. Nurse warned that temp may go up, and to take paracetemol if it does. I can't tell. I've felt quite warm a few times, but my office has loads of windows and it's sunny, so it gets warm in here anyway! lol I've been taking paracetemol anyway for the cold, so I should be covered.

BP was still up. Nurse said she'd tell my midwife, and if midwife needed to see me, she would give me a call. Otherwise, I'll see her on 14th, as planned. No call yet, so, no news is good news.

And.....my SIL gave birth to my newest niece this morning - Nancy, 9lb 3oz! :) Little cutie.

    OMG I have rage!!!

As a result of my rage.. which I am VERY good at!

DS2 and DS3 dumped stuff at chazzer and DD1's.. and have been hiding there for 2 hours!

DD2 retrieved her boots from the bottom of the garden.. in the rain.. in a tiny dressing gown... 3 days in the kitchen was more than enough.

DD3 has emptied her room of laundry and rubbish and opened the window .. she is now emptying bins upstairs.

OH de-iced the fridge, did the dishwasher twice, hung out 3 loads of washing, retieved the bag from the bin which had EVERYTHING from the floor in it.. including the Xbox controller.. see.. rage.

Anyway... my house is a bit tidier.. I can hear my heart beat in my ears.. and the baby is doing crazy star jumps! It is getting very good at super strong kicks which feel like they are coming through my skin!

*and breathe* pigpen. Gotta keep that blood pressure down!

My little one has found a spot to kick on left side, really hard, that is quite uncomfortable!

And I think I have my first stretch mark on my boob! :( *sobs* Woke up with a red line on it, almost like I'd scratched myself, but I haven't. Oh well, sign of things to come I guess!

    Lol Pigpen hope they're learning.
Thankfully my OH seems to have drummed it into my son that to play with another toy then the other needs to be put away first. Doesn't always work but good for the majority :)

Only thing I seem to have done today is put washing away and take son for a walk, pretty boring really.

I did get a message from inlaws yesterday telling me to hurry baby up as they have bags packed and want to come and stay. They don't seem to know that I don't want them here and would rather my own mum come. If they did come they wouldn't be able to help do anything and would drive me mad with mess.

kroberts.. did you not ask where they were going and when? ;) I think you may need to make it quite clear they arent coming if that is not what you want.. nothing worse than getting home to a houseful of people you dont want when all you want to do is sleep! .. is it worth saying to them they can come for a weekend once the baby is 2 or 3 weeks old so you have time to get settled as a family?? They cant say you are keeping them away and they might get the message.. might ;)

it's not all toys .. there was paper and laundry and fruit peel and all manner of filth.. I utterly lost my cool.

I'm rather glad noone has suggested coming here when this one arrives.. I find it incredibly stressful when people visit at the best of times. OH's family came after one of the others and I felt like I was nagged constantly.. I wasn't but I felt like poop and was really tired and in pain and I have just persuaded myself that they will wait a few days this time.. while I get my head out of my derriere. I might not tell anyone it has arrived for a couple of days actually.. if it means disconnecting OH from his phone for a bit lol.

You don't feel like you can just go to bed for a bit or slob in your dressing gown with people there and that is just what I might choose to do.

Thankfully, no call from midwife and when I checked BP at home tonight, it's dropped back to a normal level. Feeling even better this evening too, so it's fitting my theory that it went up because of the cold. :)

Can get the house back in order now!
