euro, I was cleaning mad on Saturday! Bathroom, all 3 bedrooms, cupboard in the hall. DH thought there was something wrong with me because I am very lazy and he does most the cleaning! I have a 4 day weekend coming up so can get stuck in again, also plan to start organising hospital bag too.

Always the way Lemon Tree. Quiet til they get as extra attention :p

I'm not exactly sure what the point in the extra scan (maybe scans?) is. Everyone that has looked has said they can't see any problem. Including the cardiologist. He was even annoyed that I'd been sent to see him rather than having another standard scan. He said from what he could see, had that rescanned before referral, they would have seen that everything was fine and wouldn't have needed to bother him (he's even sent a letter to us all saying so). It's like were being poked and prodded hoping they find a problem.

Through all this I'm obviously under a consultant. Which means no midwife led unit and no calm, natural, water birth that I want.

You could ask to be discharged from consultant care, although it may not have any impact on accessing the mlu anyway - I was under consultant for thyroid condition first time around, and they were happy to allow access to MLU. Discuss at your next appointment whether it's really necessary to continue to see them maybe?
As pigpen said, telling them you want a home birth tends to lead to being able to access things that were previously "forbidden". ;)

Ha pig! You haven't met me. I am the most organised person ever and it hurts my brain if I don't have a plan. You should have seen the organisation into our wedding. It was mental. Wouldn't let poor DH do anything.

I'm just gonna go to Boots and buy a few toiletries etc. I have £200 of vouchers to use so may as well spend them!

I can't resist the cleaning. The house needs it!

Tonight, it'll be the bathroom windowsill and the floor, as well as hoovering the stairs.

Almost bit DH's head off last night, as having spent ages cleaning the kitchen, I came home to find a dirty knife in the sink......when the dishwasher was empty and waiting for dirty items to be placed in it. Lazy so and so! It's right !!!!!!!g next to the sink for God's sake!! *and breathe*

Oooh, I like to be super organised too. I might start putting some bits together for the hospital bag this weekend. Or at least buying any bits I still need for the bag.

There's a guy at my work, one of the head honcho's, terribly unorganised. I heard his team say today that he has 1,500 unread emails in his inbox going back to August last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes me want to claw my own skin off!!!!

Ooohh have fun in Boots Toots! That's a lovely amount to spend in there. If you're going to get any baby bits, make sure you're signed up for the babyclub first - you get loads of points then! :D

Wholly unproductive at work today. Which is rubbish as I have so much to do!!!

Euro you can come nest at mine if you like? Pick up Toots so she can organise my bags.

The hospital I want is just a MLU, no docs or labour/maternity wards. I will attempt to discuss it Moog. Hopefully I won't have the same doc as I did yesterday (I couldn't understand a word of what she said). Last resort will be pigpen's threat. I'll freebirth him and they can sort me out after XD

I need a nesting instinct to set in. I have a spare room to sort out and a cupboard to tidy. I did wash all our sofa covers so that's a start I guess.

I would have loved to go to our MLU but I bled too much the last time and as a precaution won't let me in so have to go to the hospital. I can be transferred after though if all ok. I don't plan on being transferred though, I plan on leaving as soon as I possibly can.

With all the best will in the world whatever I organise fate will lend a hand.. you can't plan when it will all kick off or what will happen.. I'm so chilled I'm barely breathing!

My 'birth plan' last time had 2 words... 'wing it' .. They forced me to write something then found that utterly hysterical.. apparently noone ever puts anything sensible like that! It's all candles and hypnobirthing then they're screaming for the epidural.. The previous one was similar.. and this time I'm just in hiding.. sshhhh.... I'm thinking of one word this time 'guess' ... or 'surprise!' ... or maybe 'it's a secret' ... I've not quite decided!.. we'll see how I feel if they ever catch up to me!

I bought one pack of nappies, a bottle of baby bath, infacol and sanitary towels.. shops aren't going anywhere between now and July.

    See.. organised! lol

ooh.. lansinoh if you're planning to breastfeed.. and don't buy sudocrem it is evil.. metanium is MUCH better.. and.. for those first meconium poopies.. if you put a thin layer of vaseline/petroleum jelly on the behind it doesn't stick to the skin and cleans MUCH more easily! I use one of the little tins of vaseline for lips.. you only need the tiniest bit!

I'm quite chilled about the birth thing actually and quite happy to wing it. I would like a water birth but hospital only has one birthing pool so will need to wait until the day to see if that happens. I've not even looked into birth plan or anything though.

I hope to breastfeed so will get some lasinoh, cheers!

I noticed a new series of OBEM starts tonight, always dramatized but I do enjoy watching it. DH hates it so will be forcing him to watch it.

Oh yes. Metanium is amazing. The yellow one. I bought 1 tube and it lasted Dewi 2.5yrs. You only need a tiny bit and it'll clear anything. My friend used it on a veet cream/vagina incident and it healed right up :D
